I got a NRBQ album Free from critic Paul Williams of Crawdady
My grandmother knew Paul Williams, back in the 60's, he lived up the road (little lake), by the river (Mendocino), and as I was a musician, my grandma dropped me off one day visit with Paul, and he gave me a stack of records to listen to (he was too busy to listen to everything, so he had friends help him narrow it down), well I liked Chicago and NRBQ best out of the stack and he let me keep the NRBQ album. So years later, saw their web site, after years of not ever hearing anything about them (well I don't listen to the radio as much as I would like to)
