The picture is just flipped. Probably happened during the scanning process.
Unless of course Jerry grew back the finger on his right hand, chopped off one on his left hand, then learned to play left handed.

....considering that he learned to pick a five-string banjo with just four fingers.
And he could make a guitar laugh, sing, cry and dance - all at the same time.

What I wouldn't give to hear him dust off those rusty strings just one more time.....
