Donna Jean and the Tricksters celebrated the release of their self-produced, self-titled debut album in style, before a packed house at New York's Knitting Factory. The release party, which officially kicked off a lengthy tour in support of the CD, also served as a benefit for the Rex Foundation. A splendid time was had by audience and band alike, for a great cause.

Just before the event in New York, DJ and the gang stopped in Philadelphia, for a live broadcast on public radio station WXPN at World Café Live. The performance has been archived for your listening pleasure here.

Next up: a live in-studio appearance on Sirius Satellite Radio's Grateful Dead Channel, on Monday, March 3rd at 9 pm.
