I remember back in the 70's listening to a tape with PigPen and Janis Joplin singin' Lovelight together. Most of my tapes back then where either Port Chester or Fillmore East. Does anyone know what show that was?

it is however a much requested feature, and duly noted.
So many years later, I still miss hearing his voice, picking on the guitar, and experiencing a GD show. In 90 when Brent died, the GD sound was never the same. Seventeen years later and twelve years since Jerry left us, I still feel lost. Does anyone else feel the same? My heart is comforted by all the great recordings, but I still miss him.
A friend of mine introduced me to the GD 30 years ago, and my life has been forever changed for the better. It was the best time of my life! Thank you for all the wonderful memories!

Features is the place to look for content on the Grateful Dead site: news, Taper's Section, and more.
Shows & Songs: pretty self-explanatory, but be sure to take advantage of the really cool My Shows feature. Just click "I attended" on the pages for the shows you attended, and voila!
