These recordings are top notch and I contend they rival soundboard recordings, I am listening to the acoustic right now, which all tapers know are unforgiving with crowd noise. Almost none!! (thanks be for 8 ft. mike stands!)

Neil's fall tour change

Neil Young has cancelled his Omaha and KC November shows for logistical reasons.

Does anyone have a history of Neil Young shows prior to 1969?

You bet Jon, had to share this. If you like Neil, this vine

will knock your socks off with the live stuff from his Europe '08 tour. BUT.....
The bonus disc is studio. It is from the Original "Chrome Dreams" studio album that Neil recording in 1976/77 but ultimately changed his mind and didn't release at that time. The "Too Far Gone' is priceless for those of us who can remember those days (You kids don't try this at home!). The rest of the album is classic Neil. Acoustic, banjo, Crazy Horse, Ben Keith all circa '77.

And no Gr8tfulTed, I don't have a hx. I do have a soundboard from '76 (Chicago) and others from the 80's as well as more recent Aud stuff. I guess I will have to wait for Neil's spring show in Omaha. But if you check out this vine, I believe this will be similar to the line-up that he is currently touring with. Enjoy and Vine On!
