Everywhere!

If there's one thing I learned from my work with the Forest Service --- the Family is everywhere! No reason to doubt some Family would be here, too. This is your topic now, OceanRiver! Welcome.

theoneandonlycorky heynow-- always great to connect with my family--- my contribution was the "love kitchen" at the first 5 gatherings, I am a personal friend of Garrick Beck and Barry Plunker, founding member of the tribe along with Mountain Chuck and many Bears--same family as the dead, just more tribal and acoustic--- love you all---FUN!

location

Gathering is happening right now in Newton County, Arkansas, near Fallsville off Highway 16. You can find directions on welcomehome.org. I dropped my hubby off there yesterday, scene was still somewhat small and mellow, but no shortage of Forest Service LEOs. I live in Arkansas and thought I would give a word to the wise: While on the maps Jasper, AR seems like the closest town and best place to get supplies etc, I would not consider this a freak-friendly place. This is the bible belt folks and in Jasper they have a white-knuckle grip. I live in nearby Fayetteville, about 60 miles west of the site (two hour drive due to curvy roads) and definitely consider this a more Rainbow friendly place. It is a college town and has its share of counter culture. BUT, this is still the bible belt folks. Have fun and be careful.
