Well, I thought I would make up for the nassau 90 vine bumble, it was already out!
Here is a complete run of PURE digital soundboards...
I used to trade DATs back in the early 90's and landed these digital soundboards...I transfered these myself so they are from my master CDR's
Here's the transfer info:
DAT>marantaz 650 standalone burner*>Roland VS-880EX digital workstation>"scuzzie">OPS burner at 2x speed>master CDR mitsui brand disc ...this would have been summer 1997
all connections were with s/pdif co-axial * the marantz was used for any sample rate conversion and or reduction in "jitter"...no cross fades on drums/space...you can input these into a program and seam these CDR's with ease..edit's made when no sound or decay was there so seam could be easy... no EQ, no compression, no normalization, etc, these are not from e-tree all DATs were at 44.1 kHz , except for 08/18/91 set 2 at 48 kHz but it is still digital
only known flaw is a drop out or glitch on goin down the road - 08/18/91
This is a AUDIO format .cda , I'm going to try EAC for copy, but if that doens't work for me
the seed discs will be copied on Roxio bit for bit copy on Sony branded CDR

5. US blues
notes: yes, dark star in the first set, the performance is outstanding...there is some mixing on jack straw, but by the end of the tune...the mix is set for all 3 nights...something I don't know why the GD soundcrew did this...I guess they like to mix when the arena is full with bodies rather than empty which is sonically different....Hornsby is very prevalent in his playing
there is no doubt the whole run had alot of band communication, not run of the mill performance or approach, especially by the set lists

skip/glitch: GDTRFB 0:43
well, this is a very well played show in terms of musicianhip...the cc rider>train to cry was only performed when Hornsby was in the band...that's a nice combo treat...and you can see the inversion of the tune selection on the second set...deal, 1/2 set, and stranger are typically played in the first set, though they might not be the best versions, they are played well with alot of energy and verve...I'm pretty sure nobody saw stranger coming that night before drums! The only caveat and flaw I know is a glitch or drop out in goin down the road...it was rumored that when the GD(?) leaked DSB's to the tapers/traders and whoever leaked them would induce a glitch or two to less the quality and use them to identify to track them? don't know about all of that, but in the early days of DAT trading glitches did happen, and then later e-tree community made a great effort to track down the best sources...there could be a source that doesn't have this glitch, but it's your call if you want to look for another copy, but I don't let it stop me becuase this stuff wasn't intended to meet the stringent quality of a commericial release. All GD material is the intellectual property of the GD and rights holders!
thier gift to us, my contribution to the vineyard...
