Bob helped out...
Bob Dylan joined the boys on stage to sing "Stuck Inside Mobile" and stuck around for the rest of the night.
Correction:
Dylan came out for Iko and stayed until Mobile, then came back out for the two encores. I was there.

Is there anyway to get a recording or video of this concert? It'd make a great Xmas gift for my father who told me once it was the best concert he'd ever been to.
Recording
I dont personally have it, but you can give a shout out on the Tapers thread if you hav'nt already. I went to the first 2 nights of this run. Everyone was saying how it was the "Hollywood" place and someone would show up. It just happened the night I didnt go. Glad your dad had a great time!

surprise, surprise
To clear it up. Spencer Davis closed the first set and then Dylan came out with them for most of the second set. It was very cool to see Dylan sitting with the Dead again but this time they were doing their own stuff until the Mobile. Dylan clearly looked baffled during the jam in Cassidy, which was great to see. That second set was really cool and unusual for this time. Weir kind of flubs Monkey and the Engineer but as usual no one cares seeing as they hadn't done it in almost 8 years. This show was full of surprises and was a great way to end the first couple of shows (counting the Kaiser shows) of what would be a ripping year.
