This really happened. I was in Boston visiting my sister and went over to BU to try to get in to the show. I learned right away that there were no tix available and I went over to where a large crowd of folks were standing outside the back door of the gym. As soon as I got there I saw the double doors open wide and lo and behold it was none other than Jerry himself holding it open. The surge of the crowd pushed me inside the arena before the officials could get over there to slam the doors shut. It was a GA show so my second Dead experience was provided compliments of you-know-who.

Up to this point all I had heard was Workingmans dead and expected to hear that version of songs........little did I know.
Dont remember chimps
DO remember LOTS of people crashing in through doors behind stage
DO remember NRPS were terrific
wish I could find more downloads of their shows back then

then Dead came on and I was blown away......still am......still listening just about every day....
Do remember Candyman and what I found out later was the Other One......
