    This is an amazing recollection!
Thank you for sharing it, chsid. We are discussing this a little at my blog, Jerry Garcia's Middle Finger, at http://jgmf.blogspot.com/2011/03/nrps-june-2-3-1970-mandrakes-berkeley…. Did the mime act (Joe McCord aka Rubber Duck) with Garcia, Hart and TC perform at set breaks all three nights? I would love to hear more recollections about these shows. You can email me at jgmfblog@gmail.com. Thanks!

Doc and Son did open, though
Doc and Son did open, though I don't remember which of these three nights I attended. I also remember that between sets there was a mime/music improv that invovled a mime (I do not know who he was) with Jerry, Mickey and TC doing improv music behind him. It was different, strange and weirdly engaging.
