Nice call Tiger Trance, I was just looking at the set list and asking myself where is that incredible Shakedown. So many songs. So many songs. I remember we parked underneath a raised highway. Everything looked old and dirty in that part of town then. Great times. The Stones were playing the next night in town. We went down to Cap Center instead. Woo Hoo!

Dougles

Amen

You folks are right. I remember the great "Ramble On Rose" and my first experience of NY Thruway rest stops jammed with d'heads.

This was my fifth show and

This was my fifth show and was where I really "GOT IT" completely. We were in the middle around the 15th row and spent the whole night dancing our asses off on those folding chairs. What a night! What a show (kinda like a greatest hits)! And what an interesting pre-drums song sequence.

My 2nd Show!!!!!!

The town was dead.

I remember the streets were being all dug up for replacement of water lines? or something? So there was no traffic.......No people walking the streets.......the town was dead.
We missed our plane the next morning to NJ. Stuck in Buffalo airport for 12 hours on standby. In the late afternoon the Boys come walking up to the gate. There was like 50 (half asleep) deadheads amazed to see the the dead come walking up. They were all cool with the deadheads (except Billy) Signed autographs and took pictures. My brother was off goofing around in the airport and had the camera, so no pic's were taken......bummer! Someone asked Jerry what he though about Buffalo? "This town don't got no heart"
Hey Bobby, looks like you missed your plane too. (Bobby looks around) God, I hope not.
I went up to Brent and asked for his autograph...he looked at the cassette and told me to get one with one of his songs on it.........I dug threw my bag and found one.....he signed it. i still have it along with Bobby's on it.
They said their good-byes and off they went.
It was WELL worth missing our plane!!! A day, and show that I will charish forever!! And what a fucking show it was!!!
We ended up renting a staition wagon with Micki-O (the artist) and some hocky fan that also missed his plane.

Playin-Bertha!

Playin-Bertha! was really the highlight. Buffalo was really a "lame" town....especially after all the Deadheads left.
