The Playing In The Band reprise was sporadically played by the Grateful Dead after 1976, an always fun and unexpected return to Playing In The Band, followed by Jerry's The Heel from his first sold album

    Welcome back everyone!

Back in the swing, had been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks. Gonna keep the set list but online versions of this little duo are of much higher quality.

    Day 1 of the Dead

Thanks Dave for giving us an easy one to ease back into it. This is, I believe, my third year doing 30 Days and I thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 years so this is something to look forward to in what otherwise appear to be dark times.

And, I sincerely want to note: all love and respect to the mighty Phil Lesh!!!

    All the Years Combine

Can't believe this is the 15th year we've been playing this game!

Just like last year, the first day's file is a lower bit rate than the standard 320kbps (mine was 64). A new 320 file was up by the afternoon last time, so I'll try DLing it again later today while crossing my crazy fingers. Regardless of bit rate, great choice to lead off the month!

The file properties are locked down and can't be updated. Without being able to input an album title, song title and an Artist name, for the first time in 15 years I won't be able to add them to my music library.

I had the same issue with being able to edit properties - and had noticed the first three days I downloaded were .wav files... But I just came by to download yesterday's song and realized that now they're all showing as .mp3 files, so they're compressed - but you can edit properties.
