Man, I have not felt like this since I was a kid in the early sixties, when I would mail off my 5 Frosted Flakes cereal box tops for that toy I just couldn’t do without, and would wait, wait, wait, with unbearable anxiety, every day, for that package to come in from Battle Creek, MI.

My guess would be that GDTS TOO received a certain allotment of tickets as did AXS and Ticketmaster. AXS appears to have been acting as an online arm of GDTS TOO, so because of the high mail order demand, they pulled the plug and will fulfill as many mail orders as possible. My hope is that somehow they are able to discern ticket brokers from regular folks. I bet at least 1/3 of these came from brokers. Ticketmaster still has its allotment of tickets to sell. No way any band can get booked at Soldier Field for a three night run and bypass Ticketmaster. So, if you didn't do mail order, you still have a shot at tickets. Just as many of us who did mail order will not get tickets, so too will many others who waited for online sales be shut out. Same as it has always been. I hope to get tickets somehow, but if not I was meant to have a splendid holiday weekend with the family.
