tripped into the Dylan set
on the old gdradio.net and thought it sounded familiar. Melding it in with the View from this one and it's like I am trippin' back in time to that sunny Oakland night on the Green under the stars.

do you remember
What song they were playing?
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

Jerry was working the pedal during Baby Tonight...I know that I had a great time even though I had been expecting Dylan to play with the Dead during their set. I thought he was going to sort of be in the band on that tour but as you know it was like two performances:The Dead and then Dylan with the Dead as his band. It was alright with me...there the ones with the instruments. When they launched into "Touch" ..."running late" there was this last call for the B.A.R.T.
...the last train was leaving the station next to the stadium and a lot of folks needed to make for the tracks which just heightened the night into "Watchtower"...after the show, someone was shot out near the parking lot. I remember getting on the expressway and an ambulance getting off the on ramp cutting us of which was OK because of the emergency but very freaky driving...
