There were only 4,500 posters printed for that tour. Mine is number 2,432/4,500. I doubt many folks would part with their's. Odly, the image above does not have the hand number on it. It must be an online image. Peace

In addition to the 4,500 posters printed for the tour, there was also 500 artists proof sheets printed. Mine is number 363/500. I was lucky enough to have been collecting Grateful Dead posters for a few years and jumped on the chance to own this artist proof sheet when it first became available. I never imagined it would be the last tour.

I HAVE TWO OF THE SUMMER '95 ARTISTS PROOFS (THE GALS GOOFED ON MY ORDER AND SENT TWICE, BUT THEY ALSO BILLED MY CREDIT CARD TWICE, DAMMIT) THE ONE HANGING ON WALL 4' AWAY IS 65/500. I AM NOT SURE WHAT # THE OTHER IS BUT 170 SEEMS RIGHT-- I HAVE IT IN ARCHIVAL QUALITY STORAGE. THIS IS A VALUBLE POSTER, I HAVE BEEN TOLD. THE LAST LISTING I HAVE SEEN IN ARTROCK HAD IT AS AN 'INQUIRE' ITEM FOR THE PRICE. THE TIME BEFORE IT WAS LISTED AT $1000, BUT THAT WAS PERHAPS 8 YEARS AGO, SO I DON'T KNOW THE VALUE IN DOLLARS THAT IT HAS NOW.HAVE FUN AT THE SPRING SHOWS----YEEEE--HAAAAA---GOING TO THE CHICAGO SHOWS

I have this as well in Artist Proof edition. I lucked into it when a non-Head was gifted with it and he passed it on to me. I have 434/500, signed by Michael Everett. It's a nice compliment to the only other Dead-related poster I have, The Other Ones first tour poster, artist proof, from 1998. I call the pair "Transitions".

I was looking for a poster for the 25 June 1978 show. The Dead headlined a day-long event that had Eddie Money as the opening act, followed by the Outlaws. Santana took the stage next and The Grateful Dead wrapped it up. We drove down from Seattle in a Winnebago and our "chosen intake" for the day added to the entire event.

I have this poster too, have had it for probably 20 years, but the numbering is different, it says 17,615/25,000. So it seems like there must have been a reprint as well as the originals mentioned here.
