started by dstache I just received the rest of 1973. This installment will be 4 DVDs in lossless format and contain everything from 9/24-11/21, except for the 4 officially released shows (10/19, 11/9, 11/10, 11/11). The next and last part of the 1973 vine will be posted next weekend. Please keep this in lossless only. Got it today

and I'm ready to send it back out, but I need Arkdeadhead's addy. Have sent PM.Also happy to report no problems copying as noted earlier. Maybe just a MAC thing as noted by grdaed. I'm not familiar with the xACT software, so I don't know it's suitability for the task. I use FLAC frontend for FLAC, and Shorten for Windows (Wshort32) from Softsound for SHN. Many people use Trader's Little Helper, which I believe handles both. Don't know about MAC compatibility on any of those, though. -Tommo

down the road feeling sad

i sent the discs out this morning. i'm not having to much luck with the files, i'm getting messages as i'm converting them in "xACT" saying "sanity check" or "no zero at end of file" and one other one. this might be from coping from disc to server to desktop to ipod to desktop to xACT.hope you have better luck, alas my 1st show still eludes me. the songs i was able to convert look small filesizewise so i don't even know if they will work. why can't pc's and mac's just get along : (

crisis adverted... it was a PC thing, downloaded at work and got them on my ipods hard drive, discs should be in the mail by saturday to tommo

so so very sorry!!

i'm sorry for the delay. i'm having trouble reading the discs, as in " you have inserted a blank DVD, what do you want to do" trouble. it might be that i'm on a mac, also got the same message on my mac at work(it could be a mac thing). i'm going to take them back to work and try it on a PC as i'm sure they were burned on a PC, hopefully that will work, i really want that show!! i'll let you know tomorrow.

How many discs is this vine supposed to have? It says 4 at the top, but I only have 3. It contains all the shows it just doesn't have the multiple sources. Thanks.
