Hand-painted pictures of Buddhas and the entire pantheon of Hindu-Tibetan deities & mandalas (literal blueprint type designs of the celestial mansion of the deities). I have connections in Nepal with a group of excellent thanka painters, Nepali and Tibetan, who can do any style if you have pictures. These are the real deal, imported items with real gold paint that never fades away for the detailing (when needed or specified) and hand ground pigments from minerals and hand prepared canvass with real silk brocade. If you don't know what these items are, but interested, just search it on auction sites. Our items sell in the $3-500 range, depending on size and complexity. Send me an e-mail on this site or drop a post card to my address. Satisfaction guaranteed or money back! You will see a picture of the line drawing before the project will continue, at that time a 25% deposit will be due. That is traditional for this kind of art.

I'm taking the family (my wife and I, and 2 boys: 9 and 12) to the Lowell, MA show later this month and am wondering what to expect in the parking lot. My elder son has been into making wallets, cell phone cases and such, out of duct tape for family and friends. i told him he should embellish them with a lightening bolt or two and try to hawk them outside the show. I went to 70 or 80 shows between '79 and the passing of Jerry, and to me the parking lot was always almost as enjoyable as the concert. But I've since been on "hiatus", and I don't know what the current scene is like. I remember that, as it got into the 90's, things were degenerating, with lots of yahoos and nitrous and whatnot. I want to know if this minor league ball field parking lot would be a safe and happy place for the family to show up 2 or 3 hours early, do some tailgating, watch the crowd, and maybe sell some handmade wallets without getting hassled. What do you all think?

Post this in the Furthur threads. I've seen one vote for "too much excess" and the rest of the votes have been positive vis-a-vis families with a small percentage of real concerns from parents. Different venues will have different vibes depending on who shows up.

Hello to Everyone,I have recently been inspired to part with some of my collections... Right now I have to let a pair of American Beauty k2 Ski's go... They are original, and still in the wrapper. Time has been pretty kind to them, some of the plastic is splitting apart at the seems; but that just adds character... Feel free to send me a message on here, or an email to schotty456@gmail.com if you are interested... I also have some pictures of them upon request... Peace and Love to all the world!

For all you Kindle owners out there, I recently published "The Hallucinogenic Bible", a novel, on Amazon.com. It is a fictionalized narrative of 3 college kids following their favorite band around the country for 4 weeks. It is based on 20 plus years of following the Dead, Phish, and Dead-related bands, and in the course of the narrative, it discusses the scene, music, drugs, cops, friendships, and spirituality entailed in it all. Thanks for letting me promote! http://www.amazon.com/The-Hallucinogenic-Bible-ebook/dp/B004IE9VOU/ref=… J.T. Gossard http://thehallucinogenicbible.blogspot.com/

Howdy,I have this photo by Thomas Weir ( not Bobs brother) that I have been doing some research on.It seems he is the same artist that took the back album photo on AOXOMOXOA. It is an artists proof dated 1967.From my searches I have found it in a few museums. The picture is a framed print titled Renne Oracle.I know Mr Weir was not as prolific as the big 5,Mouse,Griffen ect.It was givin to me as a gift from the late Chesley Milliken. I know it has some value,I just need to be pointed in the right direction to someone that has some knowledge on this subject. It might be for sale if I can find a realistic value. Hopefully this is the correct forum to post this.
