IKOIKOALLDAY I just finished a great book -a comedy, suspense, thriller all in one where the main character is a major deadhead and the story is riddled with dead references, show experiences and lots of other dead-related stuff. Book is called One Hour Martinizing and is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and the authors site- www.franksaitta-onehourmartinizing.com Check it out I bought 2 for a couple of kindred spirits in my life, enjoy!

I got mine on eBay several years ago, $300 for an opened copy. Pristine, but opened. Don't know what they're bidding up to now but I saw a "Buy it now" unopened for $895. What can ya do, they're not getting any cheaper, and they're not making any more ;^( It's not just "out of print", it was a limited, numbered edition of 10,000 copies that went quick, as I recall. ********************************************* I have a sigfile! --> www.kindveggieburritos.com *********************************************

I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for anyone with the Complete Fillmore Box Set. I just got into the band this year and I am trying to get my hands on it. I have the 3 disc set and it is absolutely unbelieveable! Of course, the next step was to get the full run and I found out about this box set and its out-of-print status and its ridiculous cost on Ebay! If anyone is looking to part with their copy, please let me know. I understand this is really a shot in the dark, but you gotta keep on keepin' on...

It's only money, after all, and I've done some way stupider things with money. Volume three via Amazon was a hundred bucks (very like new except for a couple of "discard" stamps: its a library discard but the library had reinforced the spine w/nice clear tape so it's almost better than new), volume two was around $60 and is totally new. Gotta great deal on volume one via eBay though: the seller was selling V1, + a copy of What a Long Strange Trip (the songbook), and a copy of the Official Book of the Deadheads (pub 1983). Won the auction for $12! All these and a couple more Deadish books are this year's Xmas presents for myself (I'd be getting a copy of the new 365 book through the deadstore w/my new Road trips but the deadstore is currently out of inventory) Can't find a copy of the Taping Addendum anywhere though. Any suggestions/leads would be much appreciated. Mark, I think Ltapilot saw the same prices you did when he looked. Don't want to make you feel bad, but when I bought them early in the decade, I got 2 of the volumes on clearance, under $5 each.

you can listen to this as a stream or download the files in several formats - if you do SHN, then you will have to get a program to convert them to WAV before burning to CD. Etree has some good tools & background descriptions you can read at your own leasurehttp://www.etree.org/mkw.html Note - you CAN capture the soundboard streams - but you need the tools to do it. I believe Silent Bob can do it - but the final quality will depend on your equipment. http://www.5starshare.com/Silent-Bob_basic-soft249.html

If you have selected a soundboard version of your show it's only available for streaming audio. thanks all...I found a downloadable version from Buckeye Lake 1993 that I attended...was terribly over-served so don't remember it all that clearly. We got there very early to avoid the inevitable Buckeye traffic but spent those idle hours in the parking lot visiting the devil's workshop I suppose. can't figure out how to download and burn some concerts...they go directly to i-tunes but I can't make a CD: this show has a SMOKIN' F.H. but I can't burn a for-personal-use-only copy 09/08/93- Richfield Coliseum - Richfield, OH. Any ideas? I'm low tech. my college aged sons and friend said that format could not be copied but I felt I was semi-patronized and blown off. Thanks all. the tip on archive.org is cool...been visiting shows I've seen over the decades.

From the website:"We are now accepting a limited number of RV reservations......If your reservation is accepted, you will be notified by email. " An open ended "We'll let you know if you made the cut " is no way to run a business OR a festie. C'mon guys. How about "you will be notified one way or another" or "check back here and we'll post whether or not we're full". I thought this was a family...

Anyone know where to get one of the crazy tie dye's Phil is wearing on the last page of the Crimson, White, and Indigo booklet? I had one years ago. I seem to recall them referred to as "string dyes." Complicated, intricate, and very trippy. Lemme know! David es335dg@hotmail.com

If anyone out there want's a free Dancing Bear Screen Saver, please let me know. Send me a private message on this site... and please include a valid email address in the PM. I'll email a zip file with an old (but still working version) of Dancing Bears screensaver. It was created back in 1999, but works on Win95/Win98/WinME/2k/XP. I have no clue if it works for Vista of Windows 7, since i don't have any active copies of those operating systems. Just trying to share the wealth, ... peace... GratefulJim

I am looking for a replica (or close to it) of my favorite T-shirt. Centered is a "Skull & Roses" from the clavicle up, surrounded by "Grateful Dead" in American Beauty font. I need a size 2 -3 XL. The color of the shirt is not important. My shirt (circa '79 or '80) is thread bare and was a size medium. Time has taken it's toll on both the shirt as well as my size. If you have one for sale, or know where I might find one, I would love to hear from you. Ldbader@verizon.net

The only place I know of to get one of those is on Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley, CA. If you are ever in the bay area stop by that street on a Saturday and I'm sure you'll find it._____________________________________________ Will you come with me? I'm in search of help....as deadheads we need to help our good friend TigerLilly. She's been here for years and is desperate need of a laptop computer. Why? Not because she is a non-hardworking mother....BECAUSE, she is in peril and needs our help. I'm not asking you as a Deadhead or a member of Dead.net....I'm asking you as a brother and a sister. She deserves it! We as a family should help her. She is so far away from all her friends and family. Peanut and Callan are her daughter and son respectively, they are so beautiful....I'm tired of watching her struggle to make ends meet! Let's come together as a family and try to make this miracle happen for her! OK~Goal~Small Desktop for TigerLilly What we need~She's in Germany, not much, but I'm assuming $300-$400 total. How you can help~Any little bit will help....even $10.... Before you send anything Private Message Mona here @ dead.net tell her how or where you can help and we will make it work. This is part of our community, we love our TigerLilly and want her to have a puter. Thank you for your help! TigerLilly _____________________________________________ Will you come with me? This technically not a release of a show but rather a compilation of tracks from the shows in Egypt. The Shakedown on this CD is one of my all time favorites.

What's the whole licensing issue on using the logo? Over the years I have seen folks change it up hundreds of times for shirts and such. What if I want to make my own customized and give them away? Anyone have experience on that?

Are these shows for sale on dead.net? Cornell - May 8, 1977 Radio City Music Hall - October 31, 1980 Rockpalast - March 28, 1981 Can you tell me where to find them?

I suggest you go over to the Tapers section of the forums, specifically the Vindex, and see if those shows are being vined. (Vining: one person sends the show to the next, who copies it and sends the original to the next person, ad infinitem). The albums Reckoning and Dead Set contain portions of the Radio City shows, but I don't think the full show was ever commercially released, so the trading section may be your best bet. I defer to the more enlightened on the other shows, but I believer the Cornell one is one of the classics and widely traded, as I used to drive around listening to it a lot myself in my commuting days.

if your friend bought it from us, i.e. the Store, have him send us the order info and we'll see what can be done, although I note that the one in the Store is 4 CDs, not 5. I'm making inquiries. Please do not ask people to make illegal copies of commercial releases here.

A tape exists of this vintage show in Palo Alto: I used to own it. I can not find even a set list existing online. Hi Heeled Sneakers was played for sure... The date has been variably listed as 12-11-1965 or 12-18-1965, depending on when the Muir Beach Acid Test actually took place. Someone out there has a copy! Where are you? Greg Tyler Allison
