    Good luck with Fillmore
I got mine on eBay several years ago, $300 for an opened copy. Pristine, but opened. Don't know what they're bidding up to now but I saw a "Buy it now" unopened for $895. What can ya do, they're not getting any cheaper, and they're not making any more ;^( It's not just "out of print", it was a limited, numbered edition of 10,000 copies that went quick, as I recall. ********************************************* I have a sigfile! --> www.kindveggieburritos.com *********************************************

I know this is a long shot, but I am looking for anyone with the Complete Fillmore Box Set. I just got into the band this year and I am trying to get my hands on it. I have the 3 disc set and it is absolutely unbelieveable! Of course, the next step was to get the full run and I found out about this box set and its out-of-print status and its ridiculous cost on Ebay! If anyone is looking to part with their copy, please let me know. I understand this is really a shot in the dark, but you gotta keep on keepin' on...

It's only money, after all, and I've done some way stupider things with money. Volume three via Amazon was a hundred bucks (very like new except for a couple of "discard" stamps: its a library discard but the library had reinforced the spine w/nice clear tape so it's almost better than new), volume two was around $60 and is totally new. Gotta great deal on volume one via eBay though: the seller was selling V1, + a copy of What a Long Strange Trip (the songbook), and a copy of the Official Book of the Deadheads (pub 1983). Won the auction for $12! All these and a couple more Deadish books are this year's Xmas presents for myself (I'd be getting a copy of the new 365 book through the deadstore w/my new Road trips but the deadstore is currently out of inventory) Can't find a copy of the Taping Addendum anywhere though. Any suggestions/leads would be much appreciated. Mark, I think Ltapilot saw the same prices you did when he looked. Don't want to make you feel bad, but when I bought them early in the decade, I got 2 of the volumes on clearance, under $5 each.

you can listen to this as a stream or download the files in several formats - if you do SHN, then you will have to get a program to convert them to WAV before burning to CD. Etree has some good tools & background descriptions you can read at your own leasurehttp://www.etree.org/mkw.html Note - you CAN capture the soundboard streams - but you need the tools to do it. I believe Silent Bob can do it - but the final quality will depend on your equipment. http://www.5starshare.com/Silent-Bob_basic-soft249.html

If you have selected a soundboard version of your show it's only available for streaming audio. thanks all...I found a downloadable version from Buckeye Lake 1993 that I attended...was terribly over-served so don't remember it all that clearly. We got there very early to avoid the inevitable Buckeye traffic but spent those idle hours in the parking lot visiting the devil's workshop I suppose. can't figure out how to download and burn some concerts...they go directly to i-tunes but I can't make a CD: this show has a SMOKIN' F.H. but I can't burn a for-personal-use-only copy 09/08/93- Richfield Coliseum - Richfield, OH. Any ideas? I'm low tech. my college aged sons and friend said that format could not be copied but I felt I was semi-patronized and blown off. Thanks all. the tip on archive.org is cool...been visiting shows I've seen over the decades.

so i have no clue if this has been brought up before here, haven't been on in a while. if so i apologize. but does anyone have any info on converse's grateful dead shoe collection? mostly where i can buy them. i have seen promo photos, of some really amazing low-tops with a dancing bears all over print, but every shoe store i look for on the net, all i am finding is some all black high-tops with with bertha on the side. did they discontinue the low-tops should i stop my three hour web-surf for these damn shoes? any info would be awesome. Saw them in Rochester and came to Lewiston ready to buy but, woes me, they weren't at that show =( If you know who I'm talking about could you please send me a link or a contact? Would love to decorate our kitchen with a little Dead. Thanks! K

peter, I went back and forth on just nuking that post, but to reiterate, don't go soliciting illegal items on this site. For one thing everyone in the world, including the DEA, can read it. For another, it is not cool here. And being coy doesn't really change anything, as just about every cop I've ever encountered is pretty darn familiar with the term 420, and I bet it's true in Cape Cod too.

Haha, I happen to have exactly the same problem as Candyman_Chris above. Northern NJ as well. I plan on dressing like Jerry circa 1970. The problem is that all the places I've searched either have long, straight hippie style hair or these ridiculous looking afros. Nothing that really looks like Jerry. So, like Chris, I'd appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. Either online or in the Northern NJ area. Thanks.

I've exhausted every source at my disposal in an attempt to find a few items as part of my collection from shows I've attended... In specific: A used, but near-mint - mint ticket from Phil's 70th birthday show not to long ago (I had an E-ticket that was lost...) A New Years' poster from 2010 in mint condition (Furthur). A ticket from Saturday Furthur from the last 3 day run at Red Rocks. A (from the sound-board 500 limited release) copy of the LA Forum Dead '09 show w/ Warren Haynes (I got one CD from each show w/ the wristband setup but somehow lost that one as part of my collection). I have many many many things to trade, including signed work, Ipod Nanos with pre-loaded music and tons of extra posters from the past 5 years. Please, if you know where I can come across any of these items or know of a good (better) site that is checked more often by DeadHeads for trading purposes...email me. Dcarter99@aol.com I'm not sure if they have a reply system setup on here that would notify my email box, so please email me after you respond to this post so I can act on it quickly. I must fix the voids in my collection !! =) Cheers, ~d

Sure, but they only played it four times. Here's the very first one! Also the first Truckin', Ripple and Brokedown Palace (all acoustic) as a bonus. Enjoy! The other performance dates for Operator are 9/18/70, 11/7/70 and 11/8/70. Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

Hi all, I've been scouring the internet for a certain GD shirt that I once had in college and has since gone missing (well, not really "missing"...according to my dad, my beloved shirt was retired to dust rag status many years ago. Eeek!). It's got the skeleton, the bear, and the turtle playing baseball, and on the back reads "Steal Your Base". If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know! The only one I've been able to find online is on eBay, for $90. Thanks in advance! Cheers, jre7007

Really strange request, but does anyone have the box for the above. Mine got really damaged when renovation work was getting done to our house a couple of years ago, although contents were thankfully intact. I know this request is weird but perhaps someone has transferred all the music to digital and doesn't need the box anymore. I will of course reimburse any expense incurred. Thanks John

I understand basic economics of supply and demand and I acknowledge that I won't pay $79.95 like the original purchasers, but $750-$2000? Unfortunately, I wasn't on the bus yet, so I missed out and it is the only official release I do not own. Let me know!

Hello. Please could someone tell me if these are officially licensed merchandise or not please? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230580505731&ssPag… The plastic is thinner than a real pick and the edges are not rounded but sharp and wobbly with nicks as if they had been cut out after printing by hand, or just badly. I don't believe they actually are picks as described, but just printed-on bits of plastic badly cut into a pick shape. The graphics of the 'Anthem of the Sun' and 'Very Best of' ones are not centred like in the auction photo, but to the side and cropped off on one edge. Just wanted to make sure they weren't officially licenced before asking for a refund, to avoid accusing anyone unjustly. Thanks.
