this vine is something of a borderline case and may disappear.
The 2002 4-CD compilation Ladies and Gentlemen, The Grateful Dead contains much of the material included on this vine. However, to the best of my ability to figure this out, it's been out of print for some time, though aftermarket sellers are happy to offer it.
Hence for the moment I am leaving this vine alone. If Ladies and Gentlemen returns to life, we may have to revisit this. Thanks!

VINING
Guys, I am saddened by how many vines have died. When I first starting vining it was a rare occurence when it stalled. Now it is rare when a vine continues. I am so grateful to this vineyard for the huge amount of music I now have, and it is a shame that is grinding to a halt.
PLEASE CONFIRM BY PRIVATE MESSAGE BEFORE SENDING OUT ANY VINE TO THE NEXT PERSON ON THE LIST.

Is absolutely right. PMing BEFORE sending is the best way to stop this madness. Even with people who you think are around all the time. It will cover all the bases that way.
In the short term we should call out a 'Do Not Send To List' like we did last year. I hope that doesn't hurt any feelings but with no communication from a couple of people (carolina boy and deadhead525, etc.) we can only assume that these people are not participating any more and worst yet, are not moving vines along to the next person.

Received it Yesterday
I'm having trouble copying tracks d3t3 through d3t12 from 4-29-71. Looks like a big scratch on the disk. I'll try a few other disk drives and keep you posted. Ejjd - did you have any problems?
re-seeded
A brand-spanking new DVD with 4/28 & 4/29 has been re-seeded and sent to kwitt 9/17.
I had no trouble burning this. From the re-seeded DVD, I did a test. I was able to convert all of the 4/29 show from flac to wav format to the C:.
If there are still problems, I'll re-seed 4/29 as CDRs.
