to say Wince was better than anyone at background vocals is a stretch. His style is binary, no modulation, just on or off like a cartoon. Speaking of hell, hell was going to every show between 1992 and 95 and knowing you would get a Vince tune, and the later it got in the show the more you worried. Baba>TNK was his best song and he was a great keyboard player. I always wished he had done White Punks on Dope as an encore, that would have been fun. lol, what does that even mean? It's funny how some deadheads are like trump supporters, you can't tell them anything that they don't believe or haven't heard without them getting their little panties in a bunch. Sad, bigly sad. LOL all in jest folks. I was just trying to turn some on to a couple of good shows, especially the second sets, but some folks ain't gonna learn what they don't want to know. At least I didn't call names, oops, or did I? April Fools!!!

A Dead Head died and for some reason or another, ended up in Hell. The Devil greeted him and showed him to a room. All there was in this room was a stereo and a stone bench. So the Devil tells the Dead Head that only he controls the stereo, and anything he, this Dead Head does will to try and turn the stereo off will raise the temperature in his room one degree. So the devil turns the stereo on and puts on the song Day Job, and hits the repeat button. "I'll see you in a thousand years" he says, and slams the door So a thousand years go by and the Devil is making his rounds and comes to the Dead Head's room. He opens the door only to find the room the same temperature as when he left. The Devil is amazed by how much self control the Dead Head has shown and decided that he had learned his lesson and was going to let him go. So the Devil turns off the music, and before the Devil has a chance to say anything, the Dead Head turns around and says "hey, I was listening to that!"

3/27/1993 from Thirty Trips boxset is a definite keeper, not all 93 shows were shining as brighly unfortunately. Brent vs. Vince preference, well, I'll take Keith.

I've heeded the call for more 90s, and I dusted off my 30 Trips. My goodness gracious me, 1993 is incredible. They sound SO much better with Vince's background vocals than Brent on his best night. And the keyboards sound much better in the mix than Brent's Fisher Price Special (or even the overamplified B3 organ). I had no idea the Dead sounded this good in the 90s. Bertha has some spunk, and even Weir's guitar has moved past that thin tone-less period he was stuck in. Queen Jane in the membrane.

I ordered a second limited edition with that last onslaught and when I contacted Rhino/Warner was informed it was indeed a numbered version...will know for sure in just under 5 weeks...your bet is as good as mine

I guess since that link to the Get Shown The Light set on the Rhino/Warner site is down now, we can assume they were the Limited Edition Box Set, and not the All Music Edition. Safe bet?
