    Obama Stickers and Shirts
The shirts sold out before the show started. I've inquired about getting more to no avail. I did see the posters for sale on ebay. If Obama gets the nomination, we'll be making steely/obama stickers and giving them out for free or self-addressed stamped envelope if mailing is required. We've secured financing to print them and cannot sell them due to copyright yada yada yada. I'll try and remember to post here when we get them.

    Lost Levi Jacket
This one falls under the "time flies when you're oblivious" category. Set the wayback machine, Sherman! Way, way back in 1983, on the way to the Ventura shows from Huntington Beach, my friends and I stopped at the MacDonald's on Kanan Rd in Agoura off the 101 Freeway for a quick bite. Somehow or another in the process of getting in and out of the car my Levi Jacket fell out, never to be seen again. I didn't notice it was missing until we got to the fairgrounds. I returned to MacDonald's in a frantic search but it was in vain as the jacket was gone and I ended up missing the first set. Didn't care about missing the show but the Jacket had sentimental value to me and couldn't be replaced. It was old and frayed and covered with Grateful Dead patches and buttons and had travelled all over the country with me for about 10 years. To this day I am saddened at losing that jacket so I thought that I would try a search here in case by some wierd coincidence someone out there found it. My only hope after losing it was that someone who was cold or really needed it found it. I refuse to think it was stolen, I know it was an accident and probably just fell out of the car. If someone out there has found it please, please let me know; it was a beloved friend and needs to come home. Thank You ............ Bass Sheet Music
I'm learning to play bass (lessons for about a year).Alas, I have been unable to find any books or sheet music that has any bass music for the Dead. Amazon seems to have nothing either. I can't even find much out there for PowerTabs or GuitarPro. I'm afraid my ear isn't trained well enough to pick out more than a few notes from a song. I realize Phil is very improvisational, but there are still key riffs, etc. that I could learn from sheet music. Does anyone know where I can get some of the Dead's basslines? I'm thinking something simple like Bertha to start with, then work up to GDTRFB, but I'd love to play any Dead. I just want to play it right. Thanks

A Gate Crashers Suck Tee-Shirt? as for me i was a little young for the scene and I was watching the '95 end of the road Dvd, when that guy Russ was selling stickers and Tee-Shirts that said "Gate Crashers Suck" on the front and " Thanks For Ruining Our Scene" on back... If anyone has any idea on where to find one via website, store, anything like that please let me know, I am in desperate search of one.

Appears as they went to add the next set of colors they put them upside down mistakenly. I purchased this about 15 years ago in Portland Oregon. As far as I know there is only one and this is it...

no problem, this is close enough to the right topic! Are you in Portland? I lean to the theory that the next time Antiques Roadshow comes through town you should score a ticket and bring this thing. Then we'd ALL know! I think the dude with the aloha shirts and the ponytail (aha, here's his Web page: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/roadshow/series/appraisers/s-z/sohmers.html) would have a pretty good idea what the deal was. I used to know who the experts in SF were, but my knowledge is very out of date. You might want to email ol' ponytaildude about the thing and see what he says. Then come back and tell us!

I am looking for music by this band called Pranava. I was given a demo tape at a west coast dead show in the year of who knows when. It was mostly instrumental, but there were some words as well. I do remember a song called comes around here. The words were some thing like" it goes around again and up and down again and barely comes around here" or something like that. awesome instrumentals. I lost my mind a couple of times listening to that tape and then I lost the tape. Does it sound familiar to anyone? I would love to know.

yeah, I gather the name has religious significance in a tradition with which I'm not too familiar, but there they were a bit down the page in the search. Tell us more about the band when the dust settles!

Ahoy,Can anyone please help me find a copy in good shape of the Deadheads Taping Compendium no.2? Please let me know the price that you ask. If possible an estimate of the postage in the U.S. (if you happen to live there, off course). Otherwise the book has to be sent to The Netherlands, where I live. I already own no. 1, which I enjoy very much. The episodes of the early history of the band and of the acid tests are excellent. I also use the book to read about the shows that I have and the ones that can be downloaded from the internet. I borrowed no.2 from a friend but he does not want to part with it and copying the entire book is just too much. I also looked in 2nd hand bookshops but the Grateful Dead are not very popular here so I can't find a copy here. So if you want to part with a book that you have but don't use anymore you can do me a great favor. "Ship of Fools"

I recently found a mint condition set of vinyl recordings of the Dead Live at Gizah. It is a 3 album set of all three days 9/14 915/ and 9/16, 1978. They have never been played and comes in the original box with the original sticker and the original program from the show. What is something like that worth???

I would like to apologise for the crassness of my previous post. I promise to try harder next time. btw Marye, I can provide a 'Genuine Certificate of Authenticity' for an extra 10 bucks!

I'd like to applaud Hal R for taking the moral high ground here, but I'd like to see it go a half-step furthur. Let's say the rightful owner of the stickers could be found. Then let's say Steph puts the stickers up for bid on a storefront for, oh, I don't know, a month. Then at the end of the month, Steph "confiscates" the amount of the winning bid from her father, and returns that and the stickers to the rightful owner. Tut Zut! Whaddaya say? Wanna be known as Even Saint Steph(en)? Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

Hard to say. No sign of Steph over on Shakedown Street yet. Regarding ownership authentication, all we know so far is stickers and Hartford. What isn't known yet is year of show, design on stickers, and approximate number of stickers. Those are things that whoever had them confiscated would probably know. Anybody who thinks that these things might belong to them could consider PMing Steph with that info. Likewise, Steph might consider keeping those details private, for now. And if it is just some kind of prank, I guess eventually we'll all be let in on the joke. Otherwise, there's not much of a point to it, is there? Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

Apparently, this is no longer available for purchase, but I would love to get my hands on that last show in Atlanta. If somebody has it and doesn't mind burning it for me, I'll gladly pay for postage etc., and make a donation in the amount of the CD to a Grateful Dead charity. I would buy it from the band if I could, and not looking for a freebee - just no other way for me to get it. Thanks. JB

I recall a flag at a show once, or it may have been a poster. It was the image of a Minuteman holding a replica of Jerry's guitar. Does anyone else remember this? My first show was 83 but I don't think I saw that one until later on. I would really like to find a poster or something that I can use for an image design, Thanks in advance everyone or anyone . . . . .
