    (small side note) - interesting that Wash My Hands followed Brown Eyed Women - 2 Jerry songs back to back - def not the 1st set norm in this era.

    I can remember seeing their name about in adverts for albums or gigs, but I never actually heard them. Or anyone talk about them, for that matter. Possibly because no one was quite sure how to pronounce it. Something they might have been wise to consider when starting out!

    BlueCrow, you're Dead right of course re: Waldron; still no reason for interested parties not to checkout either title.

    Today: a magnificent sounding Axis/Bold as Love. Is it me or is this one of Jimi's most unique & exquisite sounding albums (I've got the JPN SICP 30822 release and the production value matches the amazing sonics).

    Of note, my homepage feed was populated w/ a slideshow re: 10 seventies acts that have cult followings. Like most of you, I've either got the bulk of discographies for most of the listed acts OR at least heard of the remainder, except one: Gnidrolog (!?). Brit Prog outfit from '69-'72, absolutely amazing stuff that I've never heard mentioned across diverse forums or acquaintances 'in the know'.

    After some sampling on Dcogs I quickly ordered the twofer release of their freshman & sophmore albums, as well as the Live '72 release. Check it out on your streaming service or, like me, who doesn't stream, numerous uploads on Utube. Be safe all.

currently streaming dead & company's second show at MSG which i was at last week.. absolutely unforgettable and I will NEVER miss another local event again!! currently "Not Fade Away" <3 which gave me chills til the end

Currently rewatching Couch Tour of the Austin show. Charlotte, Austin, how lucky you were!! Some great shows this tour. Never was in a position to follow the band thru tours. Had to pick my shows. The couch Tour is pretty great, especially for an old guy. Hope this isn’t wrong. Not trying to promote or advertise them, but thrilled to see every show of a tour, so conveniently.

Just arrived today. Sounds great. Great sound. Excellent set list. Top five version of Help>Slipnot>Franklin’s IMO. Lots of other stand outs. Love the Dave’s Picks Series!

AOXOMOXOA 50th anniversary disc 1- 1969 original mix

This entire production is first class, from the 3D cover (a la rolling stones satanic majesty) which I certainly would have appreciated staring at back in the day, it is truly wonderous.
The sound is perfect, the live stuff sounds better than ever, but really should use the original shows complete, in the order that the Dead created them. Listening to Good morning little schoolgirl by the Dead and comparing it to Ten Year After version...well, what to say, as much as I dig Alvin Lee (RIP), I MUST say that Jerry's version has more soul to it. Great cover by the Dead (off their debut album!).
