    No quality control!

Got my Aoxomoxoa shirt from Dead.net. It's not even close. I've gotten t-shirts with graphics a bit off-center before (etsy, ebay) and kept them- not a huge deal.
In this case, though, the album cover graphic is tilted diagonally way off-axis (it's also-slightly off-center on the horizontal axis, and the cut of the shirt is slightly over-long, but those are much-lesser matters). So let's be clear what I immediately saw when I took it out of the envelope- the rectangular graphic is drunkenly tilted over to one side. It's almost an inch and a half lower on the right side of the design itself than the left. It had been laughably mis-applied. It was either never inspected even for a moment for quality control, or the person doing so was drunk off their ass or otherwise cognitively VERY-impaired.
I could have saved my money getting a cheaper third-party version of this from another designer, but have generally liked the quality control of dead.net's shirts, so decided to pay a bit more. First the defect problems with releases like the PNW box set discs with their many scratches (lived with most of those- just cosmetic after all- and replaced the discs that actively skipped- and BTW, an awesome set that I'd immediately buy again), but this is at another level. Given that these products cost full market value, you'd wouldn't expect the company/companies involved to be dropping to this piss-poor level of quality control.

Lol no joke. I just got this tee yesterday , I'm reading comments from months ago and there was a concern about it. and it's not "in line" , I really can't believe it , I did receive a few weeks ago - the Daves Picks Fillmore East shirt and it was perfect

    Off Center?

What other band should have shirt with something off center? They were off center to begin with. Part of the magic and uniqueness. I have 3XX that is on center. Worn and washed once. Want to trade?

I would get one of these....

if I had a guarantee it would be in line.

My Anthem of the Sun shirt has the artwork a full 2 inches off center.

not the end of the world, but disappointing, none-the-less.

but still...that is some nice artwork...
Does the GD organization need more cash?

just paid shipping, and it was on center and a beautiful shirt, it is the artwork on a very nice yellow t shirt, awesome, and free.
I had one of these in my cart, along with the cd, and I stopped short when it came to order, shipping way too much and I don't like how they chopped up those shows to put on the bonus disc, just not right, and now, the shirt is not centered. Now that we all know, move along, nothing to see here.

I almost got that when Wolfgangs vault did that offer. But opted for the Englishtown 1977 tee. Just paid the shipping. I had figured rhino would be releasing the Aoxomoxoa tee for 50th so I held out for this one lol. I think they have a replacement coming. Either way the GDM Aoxomoxoa tee printed on grey shirt from like 20 years ago is still the best one I have seen. And luckily I bought it way back then. It still fits perfect and is great shape. The graphic is huge. Compared to this new one

I don't know why, but i ordered this shirt the day it was announced, back in early April and am wondering why it hasn't even been shipped yet. Has anyone else had this problem? Almost 4 months now and the only explanation i get is an automated response saying that it is being processed and will eventually be shipped. Same response now for 2 months!

Has anyone else had this problem? Am I the only one? I ordered in early April and never received my t-shirt. I keep getting the run-around and automated responses. No help at all. How could something that wasn't released until June be sold out in April? Why did everyone else get theirs but me? What has happened to GD? Bad customer support, just terrible. It started when Europe 72 came out. I ordered the trunk the morning it was announced and then their site crashed, leaving me without an order! When i tried to re-order, they were sold out! Then, i tried to buy the "music only" 73 CD set sans the "trunk". Then that order somehow didn't go through and they sold out. THEN! The SAME thing happened when i ordered the 30 Trips box set. I ordered within 10 hours of the announcement. Nothing! Order disappeared! Three times! It's not my fault, because i get other things just fine, like the Anthem t-shirt, Dave's Picks, individual archive releases, etc. This time my order went through and I have the emails and confirmation numbers to prove it. I've called several times and get the same response. Who else hasn't received their Aoxomoxoa t-shirt? Just me? I ordered over 2 months before it came out! They screwed me over again. Is there no oversight? Quality control?

Never mind the month and a half it took to get this. I'm fairly patient so what ever. But I ordered 3XL and the tags say 3XL but after measuring they are the same size as my XL shirts from years ago. This happens when I order stuff from China because they have a different definition of 3XL. This stuff was made in China so that's the problem I'm sure. The idea of shipping this stuff back after a month and a half waiting has me twitching. I guess I just learned an expensive lesson. If you are a big guy like me do not order clothes from here.

same with gloves. Try to find a pair of gloves at Home Depot that fits a MANS hand from China. I feel like OJ every time I go there. If the gloves don't fit, they must be shit.
