these days a lot of places test for clarifiers so to speak. test pure is a decent product, pricey, as they all seem to be, but if u follow directions it should work. but like i said, i think tests are not so easy to "study" for. good luck nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile

    drug test
Well, it has finally happened, I may have to take a drug test for a job I applied for. In all my years, I only took one drug test in my life, and that was in the military back in 75. Back then, they couldn't detect weed in your pee, so I was safe. Now, of course, they can so if anyone knows of a good reliable product that works to mask the cannabis in my urine, I would greatly appreciate any info anyone has on this subject. I have searched the net and came up with lots of products, just don't know if they "really" do what they claim. I have been unemployed for almost a year and I really need to pass this test, and I don't have the necessary 4 weeks to get clean on my own, seeings how the test will be within the next 2 weeks. Please, any info would be great, especially one that really works. Thanks in advance for any help. ;)

is the name of the tune that you are inquiring about. It was in the "endless summer 1994" issue of the late great GD almanac. Would love to see that come back, I did get a copy last year, saying that they were comming back, so we would have something to hold as we read, but I have not received one this year, yet...:) Yes, you are correct, st. dilbert riding a rake, with a rattlesnake wrapped around it, it goes like this: the wind is in the forty and the cane is in the break. Just flew in from cupertino flying on a rake. Got to hose the house down and paint the rattlesnake, pacify the dogs of war and decorate the cake. there are 4 or so more verses with the ending verse sporting the line about sitting on the sidewalk, which it does state that it is illegal in Berkeley. Hope this helps some. I think you can look at these old almanacs on line, at least you use to be able to look up back issues. Check out this site, or maybe serch for GD Almanac? Good luck....

Does anyone remember a Hunter song that was published with an accompanying illustration in the GD Almanac in the mid/early 90s but not performed by the Dead? (Probably around '93-'95.) It included a line that went something like "Just flew in from Cupertino, flying on a rake, time to (something) and paint the rattlesnake." (Or something similar.) There was also a line about sitting on the sidewalk, with an accompanying annotation that this practice was illegal in Berkeley. The illustration I believe included a picture of a character riding a rake like a broom. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I Need Permission to broadcast Live Dead
I am a DJ on 89.1FM KHOL Jackson Hole Community Radio and currently host an all Blues show but after many years want to change formats to all Dead and Zappa. They are cool with that, but they want me to secure permission w/ The Grateful Dead powers that be to play non commercial boots. Who or where do I go to for that info?? You can email me at lonesomejohnnie@hotmail.com with any insight or help. Some folks trust in reason, others trust in might, I don't trust in nothing, but I know it'll turn out right. I'm working on a project where I want to attempt to archive Grateful Dead bootleg lot shirts. I would like to create a print publication as well as a website celebrating the lot bootleg shirt. I would also like to document the stories and lore behind the shirts. I would love to hear any stories about anyone funding their tour by selling shirts, stories from shirt creators, any crazy Dead bootleg story (favorite shirt, shirts tha led to introductions, crazy adventures, etc... Feel free to send me any pictures, stories, ideas, suggestions, etc.. Thanks! Peace.

A long, long time ago, when we listened to tapes, a friend of mine had this great show from (I think) May 1978. Here is what (I think) I remember:
Terrapin > Sunrise > Estimated, which were mind-blowing. Probably Donna's best Sunrise; will bring you to tears.
I'm fairly sure that Terrapin went straight in to Sunrise. But I'm sure that Sunrise went straight in to Estimated. I don't think it was edited that way.
They were playing these tunes a lot at that time, but I've combed through the archives and just can't locate a show with this sequence; my memories may be at fault.

Thanks!

In Deadbase X, the lists for all 30 Sunrises:
5-12-77 Estimated>Sunrise>Terrapin
5-22-77 Good Lovin'>Sunrise>Estimated
1-11-78 Samson>Sunrise>Terrapin
4-11-78 Fire>Sunrise>Terrapin
That's all that have either an Estimated or a Terrapin on either side.
So maybe that 5-12-77?

Hey 1st Show!

Thanks for the assist; May 22 1977 is the one. Listening to it right now. You know what's wrong with that show? NOTHING! ;-) Many of the tunes played that night are easily top picks for me.

Does anyone have contact information for the photographer who was shooting family portraits at Laguna Seca in 1988? Today my daughter, who was three years old at those shows, mentioned that the post-show scene at those gigs is one of her earliest memories. I’d love to get a print of the photo that was taken by that photographer. Thanks!

When doing a data transfer I managed to lose all of the 30 Days music I'd collected over the years
I thought I once came across a site that allowed one to download previous years, but darned if I can find it again.
Anybody help me find it again, or something similar?
Thanks in advance.
