    So glad you made it... Welcome to the updated Dead.net! If you've been around for a while, you should find your familiar haunts much as you left them, though some of them may be in slightly different locations.
    If you're joining us for the first time, we're delighted to see you! We invite you to just poke around and make yourselves at home.
    A few possibilities:
    -Tape trading (digital and otherwise)
    - In Search Of (tickets! stuff! music! etc.!)
    - The Ride Board (useful touring resource)
    - All About My Band (the one you're playing in)
    If you need a bit of navigational assistance, post here or send me (marye) a PM and we'll try to help!

    hit a bit of a snag in the transition. The intrepid tech team is working on it. It may be some days before this gets fixed, but we're on the case, honest. Yeah, the golden road is bumpy sometimes... Thanks for the heads up, and bear with us!

    Did they remove the My Shows part of my account of the new redesign? If not, where would I find them now, & if so, whyyyyy???

    Eric, I think I have a better answer
    Since the issue I described seems to be unlikely to be affecting you: If you can see and tap/click/press/whatever your avatar up there on the upper right, it will reveal a menu that includes Logout. Also the ever-popular Recent Posts. Let me know if this works okay for you. Thanks!

    But the new site is alright with me.

    It seems like its easier to get to some of the "other" sections, but not as quick to get to the latest release thread. Which is okay, it might spread out the traffic a little. Those threads could get unwieldy very quickly.

    but if my iphone is any indication, that black bar at the top is obscuring your avatar and its nice menu with Log Out on it. I will report this to the tech folks. Anyway, glad you're here.

I wanted to post this in the Websites sub-forum but that one seems to be locked down. I tried to log in to deadnetcentral.com today for the first time in about a year and it looks like the site is down. I guess that was inevitable but does anyone know when it happened? thanx.

Duppy, from what I can tell, DNC is indeed gone, but many of its residents have a FB group and I think there is a restoration effort in progress.

My love and condolences to all of us out there as Phil passed on yesterday. Heartbreaking and sad.
So many memories of Boxes of Rain and roaring applause for the shy bassist. Good times.
