    Very Hot and Very High
Wow!!! I have never tripped so hard....does anyone remember the orange blotter from that tour? I remember floating above the crowd and bopping to Loose Lucy as I lost my shit.

    Full Leg Cast
I remember that crazy guy rolling through the crowd. I had a full leg cast from a motorcycle accident. I remember heading up that long dirt path to the gate on my crutches, and there was a TV news crew there. I saw them aim the camera at me and I smiled. The news anchor stopped me and asked me why would I come to a concert like this pointing to the cast. All I could say was "because it's the Dead!" I remember thinking what a lame cleche' here's my 10 seconds of fame and that was all I could think of. But it was the truth. I had to basicly stand on one leg through those shows. And when that freaked dude came towards me I didn't know if I was gonna get out of the way. I did manage to however it was close. A couple of days later, a friend asked if I went to that show. I said yeah and told me he saw me on the news that night. "They showed you walking up a hill with a big smile on your face." Flyin Eye of the Flyin Eye Project aka Dr-Gonzo on Undernet & EFnet

This was a hot and dusty place with some grass (not that kind) thown in... A fun show, but glad it only happened here once. It was good to here that KY Derby favorite and the Fantasy was a treat too. It was hard not to miss mr Walton bopping around back stage...

i remember this show as being very very hot, but it may have just felt like that to me cuz i was 5 months pregnant. we had been bouncing baby names back and forth for weeks, but when they broke into loose lucy, my husband and i looked at each other and we knew we had a lucy. she's almost 17 now and a senior in high school (gosh, where do the years go?). she turns a vivid shade of red when we tell her where her name came from...

I took the girl who would be wife to her first dead show here. Everything was great until near the end of the show. I remember seeing the crowd part like Moses parting the water, and straight down the center was this guy who had totally lost it. He was rolling around like a monkey, grabbing anything wet off of anyones blanket and pouring it over his head. As he got closer I could see the wild expression in his eyes, and lime green shot running out his nose. I could also see he was coming straight for us. It was scary, here he came rollin' and tunblin', crazy eyes -- we grabbed out stuff as quick as we could, but security was able to tackle the guy and take him to where he could get some help. And my future wife STILL went to another show !! I may be going to hell in a bucket ... but at least I'm enjoying the ride!!!!

Those weather at these shows was so very f-ing hot that people were dropping like flies. There were people from Rock-Med patrolling through the crowd with walkie-talkies, and when they found someone in bad shape they would radio and wave a red flag so the emergency crew could find em quick. When I got back up north, I found an article in the local paper about the heat wave in L.A.!! Yeah it was hot, but it was a lot of fun... For whatever reason I have fond memories of these shows. Hmmmm, was it because I met a new and very special friend here? Nice memories of this one!!

Though he didn't know it. My wife was 8 months pregnant during these shows and spent most of her time under the hoses they had dripping at the back. I'm sure the music sank in though.

My First Grateful Dead Show! I had no idea what to expect when my future husband took me to my first show. I was hooked after Uncle John's Band! Their best song! Has there ever been a greater band???????!!!!! I remember this show being during the Kentucky Derby and we thought it was cool when they played The Race is on! Great memories of my first show here!!!!

I remember it so hot, Garcia's wife get up and tells us to not dose any of the police. There was some crazy acid roaming around, someone had put it in water bottles and I remember that some cops had been sprayed. Ms. Garcia pleaded with us to not dose unsuspecting heads. The show was insane, but leaving the parking lot, I was in the last VW van and it reminded me of Terminator with the cops circulating in helicopters overhead. We had to pull the camper top down while driving on our way to Manhattan Beach. Insane, but a great show!!

Hot weather, lots of college kids there just to party, rumors of people being dosed with water bottles (not sure if that was an urban myth or if it really happened), one kid dead, cops over reacting to everything. Terrible (negative) news coverage after the shows. it was a hell of a weekend.

I like to attend various entertainment events. By this, I have been to various old concerts. Now I like most to visit broadway shows I can find information about them on the site https://best-vegas.com/broadway-shows/. It is very cool. I can only advise you to buy a ticket faster. They are very cheap and these shows are very cool.

I remember it was REALLY HOT out there!
"Race Is On" was a treat! I'd never heard "Loose Lucy" with the new arrangement before. Great!

By the time of this show, I was very busy with my originals band and my day job. Unfortunately, I just never got tot see the boys with Vince.
