The first set was absolutely smoking with a hot, snaky Speedway and a sizzling, dizzying Cumberland. Vocals were breathtaking at times with just a few weak spots (Easy Wind). Phil sang as good as I've ever heard him and was impressive on Peter and Operator. In the second act, the whole set was a grin-inducing treat with a monster Sugar Mag, a tender Brokedown and perhaps the best version ever of Attics. Truckin was the perfect way to send us out the door.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - Spanish Jam

perhaps, frankly, there is a tear in the fabric of spacen'time, and you are now the "INTREPID TRVELER", just don't get to close to the black holes or you'll turn into intrepid spagetti:~

Shutting down the chat room sure has livened up the forums. Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

That's funny, I saw Central's comment about ol' Nurse Ratched & looked up the movie. I've never seen it before. Only read the book. Can't go wrong with Jack. How's your tile coming along?

I'll always take the book over the movie bc then you can envision the story yourself. What really gets me is when they change things for the movie. I understand for time etc... but important parts. Man, that burns me up! Not saying Hannibal is on the same scale as Cuckoo, but when they made Hannibal they totally changed the ending. ?!? Oh well, that's Hollywood for you. :-)

Yes, when I was very small . The main difference I remember is The Emerald City.Originally, the glasses with green lenses made the city emerald. I do love the OZ movie & Return to Oz for that matter. In Return they send Dorothy to the nut house. Ever seen The Never Ending Story? LOVE that movie. Never read the book, there's probably one out there though. I must watch Cuckoo this weekend! Thanks Kindly. Have a nice evening. Maybe the chatroom will be ready tomorrow. PEACE

aren't most books better? Even sequels fall short in almost every case. Kesey's is a classic. Love the Big Indian myself. Our old school nurse WAS nurse Ratchet...a scary chick indeed. Warm and heading up to 72 degrees tomorrow in Philly! Have a good evening to all. (even JC) Ami

If you're going to San FranciscoBe sure to wear some protest banners in your hair If you're going to San Francisco You're gonna meet some angry people there For those who come to San Francisco Summertime will be a Chinese olympic protest there In the streets of San Francisco Pissed people with signs in the air All across the nation such a strange vibration People in motion There's a whole generation with a new explanation People in motion people in motion For those who come to San Francisco Be sure to wear some emblems on your shirt If you come to San Francisco Summertime will be a demonstration there If you come to San Francisco Summertime will be a rally there
