In the second act, the whole set was a grin-inducing treat with a monster Sugar Mag, a tender Brokedown and perhaps the best version ever of Attics. We have a chat room? It seems to be down for maintenance every time I go there. Oh well I'll chat here. Looks like Gigi had a grate day selling her old wares. I'm never that lucky. My junk usually is junk. Have a grate day everyone gotta go, my boy is waking up!!!

was the creation of a Grateful Dead ARchive based on all the stuff Eileen Law saved over the years, at UC Santa Cruz. With regard to the chat room on the test site, I can't even get into the test site at the moment, so I suspect people are working on stuff behind the scenes, but I've emailed Jonathan to see what's up. I am hoping we'll have it up and running (properly!) over here real soon now.

i also remember something like that, but that could just be the price we pay, volunteering for unknown substancial conversations that took place in an empty space of time filled with thoughts seeking fingers to speak words so eyes can hear.ow that hurt!:)

One of the things I was testing by being perpetually logged in, even though I was often away, was to insure that I was advised if the boot monster came swarming out of the jungle. Booting always affected all users, so if it happened, it would happen to me too. The good news, of course, is that it didn't happen the entire time the site was up. Obviously there were some changes applied to that environment recently that have caused some other issues, but those issues appear to be affecting that entire site, not just the chat implementation. By and large, I think that most of the chat issues have been remedied, and I'm looking forward to seeing it redeployed here. Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

It appears we have a ghost (ghosts) back in the "ex"perimental prototype new, improved chat room. Folks who are in the chat room see their names appearing more than once. It's no big deal to me...in real life I find I'm beside myself often too. Just thought I'd bring it to the attention of whomever this may concern (or not concern, as the case may be).
