Yes, it's another chance to hang with your fellow Heads at the ball park, cheer the Giants, and score one of those coveted Jerry bobbleheads! Portion of the proceeds benefits Rex Foundation et al.

in the general nabe of the Fillmore, you might want to check out this panel discussion of five guys who knew Bill Graham well, talking about him and their various adventures. On the walls at the gallery, a great photo exhibition also. Gallery's pretty small, so I would recommend getting there early if you go. Bob Barsotti, Mickey Hart, Steve Parish, Jerry Pompili & Bill Thompson. The panel will take place in the Gallery at the Jazz Heritage Center/Lush Life Gallery, 1320-1330 Fillmore St., San Francisco. Doors at 5pm, panel discussion to start shortly thereafter. More info at the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bill-Graham-Memorial-Foundation/11509902…

    well
early heads up that there's going to be a GD Day at the Giants again, but there aren't too many details up on the site yet, I don't think. You might want to plan on some baseball fun if you're in town that week though.

a week from today. A bud and I are going to do the SF 1/2 maraton - his 1st, my 3rd. Of course, I'll be making a stop or two at Amoeba and marauding the streets of North Beach and the Missions. I love the two hour time-zone thing - I'm from St. Louis - and the feeeel of the pristine skies and cooool temps. Oh, lawdy! The coolest thing is my family and I (and daughter's boyfriends - more than one daughter) were very recently in Hilton Head, S.C. Two different universes in a month!!!So if you see a bald Italian and a tan Irishman, be sure to say hola, y'all!

I grew up in Ohio, lived in Colorado for 15 years, and now live in Adelaide, South Australia. In 3 weeks my wife, three step kids(15,14,10), mother/ father-in-law and I will be in San Francisco starting a nine week holiday taking us all over the U.S. San Fran is my favorite city in the states. This will be the first trip for my family. We just have 4 days there, but have much planned. After that we head to Vegas, Denver, South Carolina, Atlanta, Orlando, back north to D.C., New York, Niagra Falls, Ohio, Tennesse, then back to S.C. to fly back here to Adelaide. A trip of a lfetime for the kids and hopefully they will see the real America rather than the hollywood version. See ya soon.
