My sister Jamie was an Avid Dead Head. She passed away 10 Years ago. Hanging out with the rest of the band in heaven.
She left me with four signed GD Posters. What would be their collecting status / value. Where would I look for info on this web site for interest?
Thanks, Luke - Gabriel103AJoined:Did you get my PM about not receiving Dave's Picks 43

Did you get my PM yesterday? The site is a little confusing so I was not sure if I did it correctly. I am the person who did not get Dave's Picks 43. If you did not get it can you just email me at jcharney@kprs.com and I will reply with the information that you requested. Thanks.

Hey now, please tell the boys that David Nelson should be asked to play witj tjem. I believe he was actually an original Warlock. He has played in more bands with Jerry than anyone in the dead. He has similar style as Jerry but not the same. He is also a familiar face that we have known for forty years. Bringing out new people,(Warren, Molo, etc distracts me more than adds to my trip. I wouldn't even know David was there he would fit in so well..
HEY MAN THUMBS UP ON LOOKIN' OUT. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO NAVAGATE archive.org BUT I'LL DO MY LEVEL BEST. CHECK THIS SHOW OUT WHEN YOU GET A CHANCE AND GOT THE ENERGY TO DANCE A LITTLE DURING THE 2nd SET.
LATER DAZED AND CONFUSED...............................
I just bought the Winterland boxed set, and I was wondering if there is a poster for that as well. If there is please let me know because I am buying it for my husbands birthday.

I am new but have no idea where to get help. I was shorted an item with a big order from the store and after many many attempts over the course of a month I can't get anyone with the store to respond to an email or anything. Are there real people working over there and what is a customer to do with a real issue when they won't provide a phone number to use or respond to any email inquiries. Any help to find a live body at the Dead store would be very much appreciated. I hate to give up on them all together and just get a refund from my cc company, but what choice do they leave me. Thank you and happy bird day, Greg
go to archive.org, click on "live music archive" (2nd row of boxes)... look at top bar on page, see "grateful dead", click on that and have fun! i like the "this day in grateful dead history" feature! like the zig-zag man says... enjoy!peace
Does anybody now of any good ones in northern NJ?
What's up with the presale for 09. Trying for Denver, do I use this website or ticketbastard?
I am also curious about presale and how to do it. I know how to handle mail order but if I can get them easily throught pre-sale I would rather. Anyone have a scoop on it? Thanks
This might not be the place for this question but, if not I would appreciate some direction. I am trying to learn how to be able to get presale tickets? Thanks for any help.
check the homepage early and often is my best advice.
A friend sent me this link for tour tickets. I can not link to it through this site. I also signed up for email notification and have received nothing. The information in this link says they are only accepting money orders. Is this legit or is someone pulling a scam?

I am trying to help my boyfriend get a book published, with a fresh spin. He has taken hundreds of amzing photos of fans over the years - and has an impressive and interesting collection to share.
We have been told that Jill is in charge of all things related to the band and mechandizing. We would like to get some official endorcement if possible - permission to use lyrics - and maybe even have it offered through the official website if possible. He's not looking to make a fortune on it - just feels it's time the photos got out there for others to appreciate.
If anyone knows how to contact Jill, I would really appeciate it. I tried Google, but got no-where. And, if she is not the right person and there is someone else - that name and contact info would be equally appreciated.
Thanks a lot!
Carmen
for permissions, licensing, etc., go to the Ice Nine Publishing site, www.iceninepublishing.com
If you're looking for Jill personally, you'll probably have better luck on phillesh.net.
Can anyone tell me exactly what "pre-sale" is all about? Can anyone purchase tix at this time?
I've searched for answers to this question and come up empty. The only thing I found is the GDTSTOO site which while legitimate looks like a vendor. Is that the only place to go through to get pre-sale tickets?
Thanx.
Yeah whats the deal with the pre sale...
Yeah whats the deal with the pre sale...
I think this will work for you....http://gdtstoo.com...from that page you can get all the venues and what GDTSTOO will be charging for tickets.......Hope this is not going to be the only option........Even tho this is what we did in tn\the old days...
Just go to the GDTSTOO site and follow along with the instructions, they even have a u-tube video of the procedure. Lengthy process but like Marye said it's all good, tommorrow is the first day you can mail in, all the letters can not have a post mark before the 13. In the Great White North up here it takes 7 to 10 days by regular mail to reach Cali. So ya gotta send it by Priority post to get it there in time.
I created an account for the pre-sale, but saw nothing to get an access code - which some info says I need. It's hard to read parts of the instructions cause it's purple print on black background. How do I get an access code and how does the pre-sale work? Please tell me I don't have to go back to mail order and cashiers checks ; ) Help!!!
I'm also having concerns with the access code....I never got one, so I'm a little nervous....please HELP! Thanks
~kristel
This is really frustrating! After waiting on the puter for hours, while the musictoday.com website was down, finally got on only to find all presale tix for the showz i needed were UNAVAILABLE. So, back to mail order, and their site is down too, as well as busy circuits on phone for them.
I miss the days of yore! :)
I ordered tickets for D.C. and did not need an access code.
mail it to GDTS the old way, less frustrating : )
Hi,
I'm trying to purchase tickets to the May 7th show in Denver. I'm disabled, and I need handicap accessible seating. However, when ordering online, I'm unable to specify my seats. Do you know if there is any mechanism in place to order handicap accessible seating as a part of the pre-sale? Is there a phone number I can call?
Does anyone know if the D.C. show will be an end stage or a center stage? When you look at the Verizon Center seating chart (from ticketsnow) it shows the center one first, but there is also a link for the end stage. Just curious. I'm going to show up either way!!
Dudes, the online pre-sale was a fucking disaster. I played by the rules, took precious time off of work and by the time I was able to log into your system, all seats were sold out. WTF? I want a back stage for me and my lady for free and access to the piles of coke in the VIP room. Isn't there a more adult way to get a decent seat? JFC.
My two posts this morning got queued for moderation by the site administration? I assume a snafu...or my name has gotten onto a subversives list.
only that the spam filter gets excited from time to time for no discernible reason. Many folks have had this experience; it does stop eventually. Meanwhile I'll try to get any snagged posts turned loose asap.
Hi All!! Been about all things Dead for a long while now...but new to the forum. Just wondering if anyone on here had any thoughts on the Relix magazine? I used to love the magazine back in the day when it had all the art work, fun articles, games and stuff. I gave up my subscription a couple years ago because it seemed I wasn't reading much of the material in it. Just wondering if they made any improvements or added any depth to it the last couple years. Thanks....Have a Grateful night!!
Still getting snagged this morning. I'll keep plugging away...
"Chat Room is open in another window"
this means I did a bad joo joo and I was moderated, right.
I restarted the cable connex, cleaned up the cookies, and whatever else i thought it could be on my end.......i miss my friends...
Thanks for any suggestions..

Hi,
I just wanted to let someone in the Dead Administration know how terrible the online ticket sales service was from a Systems Administrators perspective.
I have been working on computers for more than 15 years and with today's technology there is simply no reason an online order should take 45 minutes other than completely incompetent administrators or technical staff.
Anyways I am certain that other heads that went the online route had similar gripes - but as someone that knows the tech - that was the worst experience online I have ever had. It needs to be fixed.
Sincerely
tmcguinness
Whats shakin guys,Just curious, what ever happened to the grateful dead almanac?I havent received one of those since 2002, I used to love the artwork in the centerfold (with lyrics)
