    Poetry Slam Help!
I don't run a store, but I do run a weekly poetry slam in San Antonio, TX (my day job is teaching) and every year my poetry venue sends a team of 4 poets to the National Poetry Slam to compete against 300+ other poets. This year, we are struggling for funds because of the economy and because SA's art budget was slashed and thus so were our funds. I also help run PuroSlam Working, an organization that works with Non-Profits and Charity Organizations so that we can give back to SA what they give to us (both can be found on facebook as puroslampoetry and puroslamworking). Anyway, in order to raise money to help get our poets to Nationals this year (Boston), we have set up a PayPal donation center on facebook. If you have the time, the money, and the passion to support local arts in a city that may not be local to you, follow the link, donate a couple bucks, and forever hold the appreciation of four struggling artists in the Alamo City! Jerry art for sale
I'm desperate to sell this lithograph I have of Jerry's. It's called the "Banyon Tree" and is in mint condition, framed, #273/500 hand-signed. Bought it in New Hope in 2002 and am looking to get back what I payed for it, which was roughly $2,000 (or I'll take the highest offer!) Even if you, personally, don't want to buy this (or can't afford to) it would be appreciated if the word-of-mouth could get around. I'm desperate....about to get kicked-out of my house and I have 3 dogs and a daughter. I need the money to pay off bills and my rent. If you have any questions, or would like some pictures, please email me at janellpeters@live.com Thanks!

Help to Identify Bear Head Hookah - Grateful Dead - 1960's-70's
I have a friend who was given a Bear Head hookah. He was told that this belonged to a stage hand from the 1960's-70's and that a member of the Grateful Dead gave it to him. There are a couple of symbols in the pottery, but no markings. Does anyone recognize this? Thanks. I've got mine up for sale, if anyone want it. Only rode it 20 miles at the most, then it was put back in the box, where it still lives. It's a 15.5" bike, doesn't have the original white tires (which we had switched out, since the bike shop had said they wouldn't last long) I'll put it on Ebay soon, but thought I'd give y'all a warning, if anyone's interested. All the artwork on it is in pristine condition.....:)

New Music on the Way! Greetings forum! I'm a dedicated musician who's been a lifelong fan of the Grateful Dead, who in fear of not being original spent the first 20 years of my legal adulthood avoiding my most profound musical influence. I mostly pursued jazz, soul, bluegrass, folk, etc. (You know, all the ingredients) After years of being disappointed with the shortage of new music truly in the vein of the Grateful Dead, I finally gave into it and have been recording an all original double-length psychedelic roots rock record. I've completed recording and now I'm producing a full length lyric/graphic video to accompany the music for free release on YouTube. I've written/improvised/recorded/produced all the music and video on my own. Time spent working on the project has gone beyond 1,500 hours and counting. I made the songwriting a major focus as that's been my biggest complaint about a lot of newer jam-band stuff. It's stylistically as diverse as a Dead album. It's generally more high energy but every bit as free and multi-dimensional in the instrumentation. The artist name is my name. The album title is "Limited Thyme Pantry" (We'll see who can figure out that little puzzle) The release date is 11-13-15 and a link will be posted as long as that doesn't infringe on the house rules. The album is being put out for free enjoyment on YouTube and I'm looking at making the audio available for free download on my website. If you happen upon this message, check out the album and get as excited as I obviously am about it, please share with all of your kindest friends. Once it's out, I'll be making as much noise as I can about it to all my fellow heads. Warm regards from Kalamazoo

Hi, Just opened another site on ETSY for my "different" items that might not go over as well on my original site (store name LIGNA, https://www.etsy.com/shop/LIGNA?ref=hdr_shop_menu). The new store (WoodOnTheMountain) has some dead related items but I mostly do custom items to create something unique and special for you: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WoodOnTheMountain?ref=search_shop_redirect Been a deadhead for quite a while (first show was 9/71), taped a whole bunch of shows west of the mississippi, specialized in making taping equipment back in the day. Miss jerry every day ... Earrings, pendants, pens, clocks, beer bottle art and other items, check it out. My newest work are some belt buckles (not listed yet, still making prototypes). One idea is to engrave the date and location of your favorite show on a belt buckle. This is a variation of an anniversary date or special occasion on a beer bottle. Tried to sell my stuff through dead merchandising back 5 years or so. They really liked it but wanted $3-4K for insurance,... ?? That was too much for my projected volume. Would be interested in anyone who does sell dead stuff and might want to carry my stuff. Staying away from copyright stuff but could do that if there were no legal problems. later, jaime

Hey all. I purchased the Munk One Fare Thee Well foil set for a friend as a surprise. Well, he also bought one. I'm out of room on my walls and could use some scratch for the holidays. This is the 3 poster set (7/3-7/5) signed and numbered of 35. (This set is numbered 35/35)!! The rub? I sold it on eBay earlier this year and the gent who purchased it slightly damaged the 7/3 poster and then claimed it was sent damaged (despite my 100% positive history of sending posters). Neither here nor there. Just looking to find a new home for these beauties. The damage is a slight corner crease that should frame out and a small dent. Email me at jlewmook@gmail.com so that I can send you pics of all 3. http://expressobeans.com/public/detail.php/210920 Here they are on EB. I paid $320 and they've averaged $636 when resold. Make an offer wherever you like (more than I paid, less than I paid, barter, whatever). These are beautiful and shouldn't be kept in a tube like they are now.

Afternoon, rockers!!!! I'm letting go of some of my official Dead recordings, up to and including my FW69 Box Set, including my Dicks Picks, Daves Picks, RT, box sets etc. Only thing I'm determined to hold on to right now is my E72 trunk (although I might let it go for the right price). Most are gently used--in fact, a lot were played only once, when I burned them in to my computer. Looking to invest in some new guitar equipment, trying to raise funds..... This is not a "fire sale", nor am I looking for crazy eBay prices either..... Anybody interested, please PM me, and include your e-mail, so we can discuss. Rock on!!! Doc

I'm selling Backstage Passes that date from March of 1986 to Summer of 1995. I do believe they all belonged to one person or family because they all have the same last name except for the last year one changed... maybe got married? There are 60 cards and stickers in the bunch. 10 of which are encased in plastic sleeves. The encased cards have the names on them and 4 specifically say 'Employee'. The earliest of which is hand written from December of the year 1985 and has a name and also says 'Audio Broadcast Crew'. I'm asking $1600.00 for group. I have pictures to share if anyone is interested. You can PM me or use my email. ophmnk@yahoo.com

I am fully indoctrinated and immersed in the sharing economy. I am a librarian by day and a farmer by night. I rent rooms in my home. I long for the house share situation that I had in college when a group of like minded individuals would come home after work, throw a few things in a bag, hop in a car, and be on the road for a few days going to the show. I lived for the next show then. Now I just stream it will completing forms and filing paperwork. "Mama mama many worlds I've come since I first left home" My name is Eric I got on the bus in the late 80's and made about 30+ shows between '85-'92. I'm an east coast head, mostly been on the west coast since mid to late 90's. In better times ive played and sang Grateful Dead songs. It was a secret ambition to play with Jerry and the band someday but life presents other things sometimes, pushes and pulls one in different directions (when youre following the muse. other trips I just mention this to give a little background. As an "experienced tripper" I say, word to Cassady, Garcia, Kesey, Lesh, Mountain girl, Thompson, Das, and all the rest, you know who you are. Respect. Bow. We'll all be Buddhas someday. Eric's in a little trouble, outside on the west coast, with a hernia to boot. I set up a gofundme campaign to possibly ease a serious struggle back; https://www.gofundme.com/need-funds-for-exploding-hernia "Fare you well, my honey, Fare you well my only true one. ..."If I knew the way, I would take you home." "Thank you for a real good time" Eric Remember, "don't eat the brown acid" ...it's bunk. Thanks very much I hope to post again in better days. Thanks so much!

Hi there I have approx 60 bootleg CD's, a number of vinyl and a few books from my Dads Grateful Dead Collection. Im afraid the big ones like boxsets/picks/limited edition ones etc. have already been sold - but I am not a fan myself to there might be something in the remaining CD's that might be of interest. Feel free to email me and I will send you the list of CD's - rather than filling up this forum. I have yet to list the vinyl but perhaps there is something in particular you might be after? Many thanks Jess
