Stella Blue - my tribute to Jerry
This is me giving back to Jerry as much as I can, straight from the heart to my keys, with all I learned about music from him. A few bad notes and all. Thank you Jerry.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH-uY7x2LHk

Scarlet Begonias plays The INTERLOPERS !
This ain't an official submission from the INTERLOPERS. I just wanted to share this stuff with y'all...
The INTERLOPERS are the buzz of the What's what, of what's goin' on around the BERKLEE COLLEGE of MUSIC scene, as well as the Greater New England area of the States for that matter. The first time I had the distinct pleasure of catching them live was this past fall, at GARCIA's (The CAPITOL THEATER ).
The INTERLOPERS were the official featured After-party, following the MICKEY HART BAND's absolutely freakin' STELLAR show at the CAPITOL THEATER in Port Chester NY that night...
pretty darn hard act to follow, but I'm tellin' you what...
the INTERLOPERS kept those Positive Vibes & groooove thangs going, going, strong in to the wee hours, & they did it up right; they made it happen CAP'n!!!
Super added bonus...
MICKEY HART's Lead vocalists, CRYSTAL MONEE HALL & JOE BAGALE sat in with the INTERLOPERS on a few tunes - twas sublime!
Keep your antennas tuned for more stuff from the INTERLOPERS, because they're coming, you're going to hear about the shows, & they are going to be gooood, good for your body & good for your soul :D !

Hi all - Below is the Canny Brothers Band's submission for the 2015 Dead Covers Project. It is our jigged up version of a Robert Hunter favorite "Boys in the Barroom." Hope you enjoy!!
Thank you for featuring Indalo Wind. We are honored to be included with all the great musicians who have contributed to this very cool project. Peace through music.
Imagine my happy suprise to sign in and see that my video is featured today... BUT it's not loading onto the page and if you click on youtube it doesn't take you to the video. Not sure who to ask for help....but in case you want to see it.. here is the link: http://youtu.be/pz9HD57NQYgand here it is embedded here:
Big love to all!
Thanks to whoever fixed this! :)I am so stoked and honored. I may be a 49 year old woman, but when it comes to Dead stuff I still feel like the 17 year old who left home to go on tour.
big love to all!

Thanks to all for the kind words, both here and on our youtube page. For those who missed it, here is the Brokedown Palace by David Bryan and Friends featured last Tuesday.
Be sure to watch all the way through! :-)
I'm a bit confused about the Covers Project. I uploaded and tagged some songs and they appear on a general search of Youtube under the DeadCoversProject2105 (along with about 45,000 other songs). But I noticed that the Grateful Dead YouTube channel only includes about 53 songs.
Just curious if there are more selections to be made or if there is a deadline.
Thanks for hosting the Covers Project! Very, very cool.
All good things,
Mark Harrison
folks, feel free to add whatever variants you like, but be sure you're tagging your clips "DeadCoversProject" (without the quotes) to ensure that our various filters see them.
Thanks!
One more new cover for the 2015 Dead Covers Project.Scarlet Begonias into psycho-jive music, then to a brief tune we invented on the spot ("Dream"), then segue into I Know You Rider. Scarlet -> IKYR is our preferred way to get to Rider, usually with some interesting detour(s). And to make it authentic, Scarlet even has a vocal flub!
Enjoy.
Last submission for 2015. Gig closer for a show in January. We often close with Franklin-> etc -> WBYGN. But this night, we started with the Dave Mason classic, Feelin' Alright. The chord structure made it seem like a natural segue candidate. But as you'll hear, that funky rhythm was almost impossible to leave behind. Finally just succumbed to and let it redefine Franklin :).
Enjoy! The Dead Cover Project is an awesome experiment!
