    Despite the gate crashers,
Despite the gate crashers, this was a great show. Dylan opened, then, Mickey and Billy tweaked my mind on drums. A fantastic second set!

Quite ironic that Bob Dylan was SO GOOD and we had ample space to enjoy him RIGHT UP FRONT on blankets, great scene, great showAND THEN after Bob the stampede began, the place filled up with drugged out putrid stinkin turds. The first set was lackluster, I split before the 2nd set, The scene had deteriorated badly, and I was so happy to leave before the nightmare at the parking lot, where in 1994 we were waiting in our car for about 6 hours creeping to the exit. Thank You Grateful Dead for some great music throughout the years. RIP Jerry/Pigpen/Keith/Brent

Man the scene had become unrecognizable. Smack had had a nasty effect on it and Jerry looked dead himself. Sad to see. It was over before it ended. The sound was horrendous, as was the band. Seeing what the scene had become was shocking (the last show I saw was at Highgate the prior year) and wasn’t something I wanted to be part of any longer due to what it had become. As I was leaving we saw a guy holding a roll of paper towels saying “spit on me for a buck, piss on me for $5 or kick my ass for $20”. Wow wtf
