Hot chili peppers in the blistering sun Dust on my face and my cape Me and Magdalena on the run I think this time we shall escape Sold my guitar to the baker’s son For a few crumbs and a place to hide But I can get another one And I’ll play for Magdalena as we ride No Ilores, mi querida Dios nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango Past the Aztec ruins and the ghosts of our people Hoofbeats like castanets on stone At night I dream of bells in the village steeple Then I see the bloody face of Ramon Was it me that shot him down in the cantina Was it my hand that held the gun? Come, let us fly, my Magdalena The dogs are barking and what’s done is done No Ilores, mi querida Dios nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango At the corrida we’ll sit in the shade And watch the young torero stand alone We’ll drink tequila where our grandfathers stayed When they rode with Villa into Torreón Then the padre will recite the prayers of old In the little church this side of town I will wear new boots and an earring of gold You’ll shine with diamonds in your wedding gown The way is long but the end is near Already the fiesta has begun The face of God will appear With His serpent eyes of obsidian No Ilores, mi querida Dio nos vigila Soon the horse will take us to Durango Agarrame, mi vida Soon the desert will be gone Soon you will be dancing the fandango Was that the thunder that I heard? OK one more by these fellas cause its a stone cold groove... Crazy Janey and her mission man Were back in the alley tradin' hands 'Long came Wild Billy with his friend G-Man All duded up for Saturday night Well, Billy slammed on his coaster brakes And said, "Anybody wanna go on up to Greasy Lake? It's about a mile down on the dark side of Route 88 I got a bottle of rosé so let's try it We'll pick up Hazy Davy and Killer Joe And I'll take you all out to where the gypsy angels go They're build like light And they dance like spirits in the night (all night), in the night (all night) Oh, you don't know what they can do to you Spirits in the night (all night), in the night (all night) Stand up right now and let them shoot through you" Well now, Wild Billy was a crazy cat And he shook some dust out of his coonskin cap He said, "Trust some of this, it'll show you where you're at Or at least it'll help you really feel it" By the time we made it up to Greasy Lake I had my head out the window and Janey's fingers were in the cake I think I really dug her 'cause I was too loose to fake I said, "I'm hurt." She said, "Honey, let me heal it" And we danced all night to a soul fairy band And she kissed me just right, like only a lonely angel can She felt so nice Just as soft as a spirit in the night (all night), in the night (all night) Janey don't know what she do to you Spirit in the night (all night), in the night (all night) Stand right up and let her shoot through me Now, the night was bright and the stars threw light On Billy and Davy dancin' in the moonlight They were down near the water in a stone mud fight Killer Joe gone passed out on the lawn Well now, Hazy Davy got really hurt He ran into the lake in just his socks and his shirt Me and Crazy Janey was makin' love in the dirt Singin' our birthday songs Janey said it was time to go So we closed our eyes and said goodbye to Gypsy Angel Row Felt so right Together we moved like spirits in the night (all night), in the night (all night)...

Top of the afternoon peeps (literally). Nothin' like some in-air GoGo wifi.....(no, rrrrrgrrrrr, not that kind of Go Go....). Okay..... so no one laugh, but I just saw this Hall and Oates concert from Dublin from last summer here on the flight. Holy shit - frickin' amazing and brought back great, great memories of their catalog of hits. Highly recommend it. Could never figure out how they were friends of the Dead but I do remember them opening up for them on the 9th of 9 straight nights at MSG in when was that?? '89? '91? Anyways, here's to hoping all the beautiful Sunshine Daydreamer's had a wonderful start to the week. Cheers !!

I had one of of those moments too. I never paid much attention to Hall & Oates other then when they were on the radio where ever I happened to be. Then I stumbled upon a show called "Live From Daryl's House" with guest Joe Walsh. Wow!!! Joe Walsh is always great, but I saw a side to Daryl Hall I never new existed. He was amazing. Same thing when he had Billy Gibbons and Todd Rungren as guests. This is a series he has been doing for seven years or so. They take place in a private studio he has put together. Best place to begin looking into this is Wikipedia.

Looking back it was the right choice....for us....at least.... She forgave me and we are gonna watch together, she's in town for Easter week.... Godspeed to Wisconsin...beating Caliperi was sweet.... Got to see Michael Jordan play in college. 3rd Dead Concert was 4/2/82 at Cameron Indoor. Volunteered to be an usher so got to see the show for free. After the first set was able to go down front and be done working. Still have my t-shirt I got that night. I believe that was the show that Jerry and Bob switched sides? Steve
