    Unfortunately, I had to go into the ER last Friday night at 2am. I had a really bad flew for the last 2 days and it got to the point where I had to go in. Apparently, I my liver was severely inflamed due to really high levels of acetaminophen. After they did the catscan, they figured it out. I had to be monitiored and held in the hospital for the whole week. It was really scary because I didn't know if I was going to need a liver transplant or not. Believe it or not, it was not due to anything other than Tylenol at high levels. Luckily, it subsided and I have to be really careful with everything from now on. Due to the Open Heart Surgery last year I already had a week heart. But according to the doctors I now have a really week muscle as well. Even though I had two valves replaced, please say I don't need a defibrillator to put a damper on all this. I will find out next month. Which is when I will be going to see the boys play. So needless to say, I'm kind of bummed right now about the health, dude I'm only 33, but I do know that at least I have a community of people that will send me shining beams of lovin this way! It makes me smile to know that! _____________________________________________ Will you come with me? Once in awhile you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right!

    more +++ vibes
    more ++++++ vibes for everyone, and for the Capt. of the ship, true bravery and courage there. ********************: selfless acts reap karmic rewards. I'd like to thank the folks here for remeinding me about true deadheadism and love and life values. the calvary is coming and the crew came through! our loved one, who we cherish and hold ever so dear in our hearts is doing better in her times of renal failure, her creatinine (sic) levels have actually gone down a bit in the past few weeks, owing to my old lady's ability to whip up low protein, high calorie foods in a very unusual restricted diet. apparently, the lowering of such levels when you only got some use of only one kidney, (her other one went a long time ago, and the limping kidney she has partial use of hass a big stone, ) is very unusual. Well, she is a most special woman, having given life and re-birth to my old lady and me, as well as other family we love. She laughed her cancer away 15 years ago, (well, that and major surgery) and now she is laughing (quite literally) her kidney trouble back into the corner. No easy feat at her ripe age of 78. HAPPILY! More help is on the way and we'll get a few weeks off to head back to our beloved time and space in the musical circus of the tour. just when I was losing all hope of heading east, the sunshine daydream Gods shined on HER, and, the healing kidney beams arrived and have staved off the need for dialysis in the time being. More +++++++++++++ vibes to all! keep 'em bouncing back and forth!! love and peace, cc

Grate to hear that, and positive healing vibes to you both!Good news from my dad and sister, my mom made it through the surgery and is awake and resting. The surgeon didn't have to much to say about the prognosis, but did say it was a very large tumor and a very difficult surgery. I think he will have more to say tomorrow when he can talk to my mom and dad together. I'm taking a 1/2 day tomorrow so I can go see her. I will keep you posted. Thanks Everyone!!!!!! Peace

Went to visit my mom today, she's in alot of pain but is resting well!!!! I happened to be with my mom when her chief surgeon came in to see her. He feels very good about the surgery and thinks he got all the tumor, but said we'll see in about a week or so when they recheck her!!!! He talked about getting a better grip on her pain and if they could do that they might make her sit up in a chair for a little while tonight!!!! He also said they will be moving her out of icu tomorrow and moving her to the step down unit!!!! A huge weight has been lifted!!!Thanks Everyone Peace

and thanks for all of your kind thoughts and expressions with my Uncle Bus's passing. Unfortunately his wife, my wonderful Aunt who stood with him these last 6 + decades, recently had surgery (she had delayed this because of Bus' dying) and then she had a stroke that night..... anyway she is still struggling so with her grief, and now with her loss of words or avenue to express herself. It is so hard for her and I hope that she can recover to live her days well, or if it be her time, that she could "go gently into that good night". If I might tap into this wonderful well of vibes again, please send her your beams of wellness or of finality. Whichever it will be....take care............ Hi all~please say prayers for my brother, Elliot - who will be going into the National Guard for his boot camp training next week. He had wanted to join the Marines about 10 years ago, and my dear mama and I talked him out of it...well, he's not a kid anymore, and he has the right to do as he chooses - so as much as I respect his decisions - and as grateful as I am for his motives for joining - I can't say that I am happy to see him go, and much less - to see him deploy for a possible overseas tour next year, which seems to be what he wants... Although I can't understand how he would want to do this - at least, not completely, I love and respect him dearly and I just want him to be safe and come home safely... Prayers and blessings please, as he is a very strong but sensitive soul and it's just so scary what's happening around the world... Thank you very much!

it can be as hard to have a warrior in the family as it is to be one.....you want to keep them safe and still respect their decision......all you can really do is love them, support them as much as you can...and pray for their safe return......we have alot of young souls in harms way AGAIN.....and this is all we can really do for them....i'll help with the prayers as much as i can....just remember...right or wrong...they still need your love and respect...it's a tough decision that is sometimes made without forethought.............

peace/love Michael I like many people know how the death of a pet is as real as any death of someone you love and are close too. I remember summer tour of '93 my pomeranian "Miss muffit" the little grateful dead bear died with me on tour. I remember having her remains cremated, and smuggling her ashes into the Buffalo, NY show just as I made it into the show, the band was doing the refrain: "Ashes to Ashes,all fall down!!!!! and right then and there I scattered the ashes, I always treasure this act, man how I would love to go out like that!!!!

as we've been away, I haven't checked in here for a long while, so first, I'd like to extend sincere condolences to Oroboros and ++++++++ vibes to everyone else and to all. gotta do a u-turn. just when i thought we was on the way back, a 'family' member of ours needs help so that is what is the priority now. please send positive vibes for a wonderful lady we love and cherish, kidney failure creeping in on the one kidney she has that still works a bit. diabetis and a big stone complicate things, not to mention the fact she lost most of her insides to cancer 15 years ago. tough woman in spirit and the KINDEST person you might ever meet. she beat the cancer, has 2 colostomy bags as a result, one for pee and one for poop... the poop is backing up in poisen, creatinine levels way too high; lcuky foor her, my old lady is a quick study on nutrition and how to cook an extremely complicated diet to reduce her protein levels and whatever other stuff that I don't rightly understand. She was in hospital for a few weeks, home now with people who love her and more HELP is ON THE WAY. she is the one who taught my old lady her own philosophy of life and I am still learning them lessons myself: 'go with the flow of the river, just keep your head above water' she needs our help more than we need the tour, so thatis where it's at right now. what another month may bring? hopefully better health and more strength. her heart isn't strong enough to start dialysis now. dialysis will be on the agenda as time goes by. +++++++++ vibes for all!! love and peace. cc
