    I’ve also got the fever with plans for Noblesville, Alpine x2, and Warren’s Jerry tribute in suburban Chicago (plus a couple of Phish shows at Wrigley). It’s unrealistic to expect FTW-level anticipation and I wouldn’t mind some Spring shows to fill the gap but there’s a lot of great music coming our way. The sun is shining and da bus rolls on.

    Happy Belated B-Day/Anniversary
    Well said, rrrrgrrrr! The last year really shot by, but what a year it was! Certainly July was the highlight but the run up to the shows was a unique and enlightening experience that displays the power of a common spirit that comes from unlikely events and unexpected sources. Just the other day I was talking to my brother about Cichlids--a convo that may have never happened without the influence of Greg. How many times have I started a sentence with "last summer in Chicago" or exclaimed "you should have seen this rainbow that appeared out of nowhere"? Hopefully, there will be some reconnection this summer on tour with D & Co. I have really enjoyed the opportunity to meet all of you and look forward to turning Too next year!

    @I got the Fever....
    It's that time of the year, I've been itching for a Spring Tour, but it is not to be. Thirty three years ago tonight the boys closed out their run at the Knick, played their last Casey Jones there on 3/27. Thirty six years ago Branford sat in at Nassau, and oh what an Eyes that was. (Apologies to David Byrne). I can't help but relive those moments in my head. Like it was yesterday. The Daydreamers bus has fewer riders these days, especially since the hype of FTW is firmly planted in the rear view and slowly fading out of sight. But the road goes on forever. I'll give credit to Brother Gregg for that gem. It's kinda cool that kind folks at dead.net continue to acknowledge and affirm our journey. We even made that last newsletter. Who'd a thunk it? So what say we put away our dynguses and pussy willows for another year and raise a glass to Jerry and the boys. Here's hoping for many more years of health, magic, fun and friendship. If you get the inkling, feel free to take the wheel and you know the company on ba dus is always cool and the coffee is always hot. Klang - Arrived at San Francisco airport today. It's the standard for travel. All food vendors are organic. Solar arrays on the roof of the terminal. Future is now. No diesel bus fumes here. Give up the wheel and get in the cockpit.

Happy Friday.... Klang thanks for getting us....so far... Wide awake here in WNY.. ...@#88 enjoy mean old Frisco.... Have a Merlot on me.... btw this bus is environmentally friendly as well...it runs best on peace and love Totes....how's your buzz....I mean bee....coming along? To all our other folks just as valued but too numerous to mention.....stop by and say high if you get a chance... Have a free form fun Friday....make it matter! Since it seems Totes scrapped the skivvies plan... Feel free to claim your items in the clean laundry pile back there... Coffee is on, Tim Horton dark roast.... And I felt around for my shoes. That's when I knew I had them old walking blues.. . I've given up hope on finding them sandals. Weekend trip to the Bass outlet I suppose. Toast and coffee. Got to make it just one more day.

Gotta hear those Guineas Clank, If I'm gonna get to Fennario! Working mad overtime to make it happen, Oh but it will happen, Just need that perfect set of Santa Clara's with a view to pop up for my friend, and I can put all of this "Up all night searching the Interwebs nonsense" to bed. I will still keep searching out Chicago's when I have free time. I hope someone jumped on the one I posted last night. Good Morning RRRgggRRR and all of my fellow intrepid travelers out there in cyberspace. Totem, I can't wait to meet "Buzz". yeah but Saturday I go out to play..... Gonna spend part of this weekend sorting through my Stones boots.... Trying to track down the MSG Exile on Main St show...think it was 72 or 73..... Damn, were they relevant back in the day....well I guess we were too... Take good care of that urethra Bob....never know when it will come in handy.... .....come on down Sweet Virginia..... The Dead show was the last one there, they tore it down shortly after. Got home last night to the wonderful aroma of a freshly baked blueberry peach pie!!! I called it, no idea the little lady was gonna spring that on me, and she doesn't read this madness...

with lunch, it isnt as good as when the fruit is in season, but frozen ain't bad after this winter,I'm thinking the '87 show was Hollander, also torn down, with Good Rats opening. When the rat dude started banging on a garbage can full of rubber rats and tossing them to the crowd, crowd throws back rats and then all kinds of stuff, drove the rats offstage pretty quick....

Was there...dude was Peppi Marchello, grew up on Long Island...saw that band hundreds of times...check out their album from 1974.....Tasty....it's on iTunes....amazing musicians with a fetish for rats baseball bats and garbage cans.... Bad mix of Rats n Dead..... Kinda like when 10,000 maniacs opened for them at Rich Stadium, maybe '89 played 2 tunes and gonzo....

Ahhh....the only morning of the week I can sit back and relax with my morning cup of joe..I have no Honey so I'll have to dew the dew. Maybe that's why the list stays soooo loooong! Now if I could get the puppies to fold laundry I would be forever Grateful :)

This lovely planet caught my eye.... Tuned into Mad dogs and Englishman... A great way to jumpstart a day.... ....learning to live together..... ...til we die! when this is over, there's a box of 8 tracks behind that seat...
