@ Monday's Mischievous Meese Making Merry Melodies
...or mices...it's all their fault. Fairies riding butterflies are the best...they catch the last notes of a jam, swoosh out over time and space, and alight in the strangest of places. In my case, right smack dab in front of my work email, time-sheet, invoice, contract or project file. Then I hear that wisp of melody, and unseen forces require I pull up You-tube and cavort with whomever insists on supporting my daydream. If they..the fairies, butterflies, meese and you would behave, then that little cursor arrow wouldn't hop from site to site, and we would all get our tasks done, whether centered on work, play or daydreaming. However, without musical melodies massing around us, our Mondays would be that much more droll and gray-toned, so thank you wayward meese everywhere. And those who readily spin the radio dial, keep the platters spinning and the tunes a coming. We working stiffs, meandering minstrels and minstrelettes and..look a butterfly...deadheads near and far are always willing to hum along and/or whistle as we work. Reminds me of a story...

gotta water my flowers...then, write specs. Ugh, writing specs. Ugh. I'm a doer, not a director. But, this project demands it. Ugh. I'm already a week behind. Did I say "Ugh"? Should probably stay away this week, to keep my fuzzy little brain on track. Have a lovely day, and watch out for those fairies. They can be oh, so mischievous...hide your pencils, unplug your mouse. And then, they just sit there and giggle at you!

I'm searching for phrases To sing your praises I need to tell someone It's soon after midnight And my day has just begun A gal named Honey Took my money She was passing by It's soon after midnight And the moon is in my eye My heart is cheerful It's never fearful I've been down on the killing floors I'm in no great hurry I'm not afraid of your fury I've faced stronger walls than yours Charlotte's a harlot Dresses in scarlet Mary dresses in green It's soon after midnight And I've got a date with the fairy queen They chirp and they chatter What does it matter? They lie and they dine in their blood Two timing slim Who's ever heard of him? I'll drag his corpse through the mud It's now or never More than ever When I met you I didn't think you'd do It's soon after midnight And I don't want nobody but you

“Shining like a diamond, rolling with the dice, standing on the ledge, I show the wind how to fly. When the world gets in my face, I say, have a nice day. Have a nice day.” This song is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and make you want slap your colleagues’ backs. So go ahead and spread the Monday merriness (you could just ‘mistakenly’ forward this link to everyone in the office). Monday doesn’t have to erase the weekends so don’t worry. Friday will be here soon enough. You don’t have to reserve your passion for the weekends. Do what you love every day. Live your life and your dreams so much that when a new week starts you shout with glee: “Oh my gosh, it’s Monday!!” Bonus: Extra Ways to Feel Better on Your Monday: Prepare the night before: Get your clothing out and your hair done. Make a note (mental or physical) of what needs to be done. Get enough rest: Don't do anything too hectic or strenuous on Sunday. Have a low-key evening and get enough sleep! Have something fun to look forward to: A place to go with a group of friends at lunch or something indulgent you don't normally have. Just don't overdo it, you probably use the weekends for that. Try some natural energy boosters: Such as no-bake oats bars, kiwi or two tablespoons of oat straw extract added to your coffee. Practice breathing techniques, laughing, getting some sun, and drinking more water.

Steve welcome. my wife is along for 1 show. kids along for the rest. big debate whether wife should attend 4th of July...we "feel" this will be the rocking-est; or the Sunday shows, which "could" be more emotional. So far, she picked Saturday, anticipating US Blues and Jack Straw. Oldest son's job on Sunday is too keep me from completely melting down at the last song. Good luck with that, son. grrrr...what happened to your buh-wheat post?

Not sure how I feel about Mondays. "I like it, but it doesn't like me" or something similar to that Jimmy Stuart said in the best Philadelphia Story. Want to drop out but also want to patch those sails... I once heard that political correctness was invented by the right. Without making a judgement call on directional leanings, the nature of each make political correctness a farce and parody of itself. Nothing wrong with consciousness, inclusion, awareness, tolerance, and respect though. I'm all about that. I have ten fingers and ten toes and I miss/ed Jerry. My sister is not coming to Chicago but she's along for the ride in Santa Clara. I ask if she wants to come just Saturday or Sunday and - bless her heart - she says "I want to go Saturday. That way if I want to go Sunday too I can." She's got a spark of faith she do. Know telling how far she'll go down the road ;) "And nobody knows it like you do babe, nobody knows it like you do Nobody knows it like you do babe, the lengths we will go to" - Shovels and Rope Everyone get enough coffee? I'm tempted to make another pot.

Cuz the vandals took the handles. When will we learn this never works. Just sucks and riding out the rage. This town had a chance for a few days to make a statement that would have been heard. There was a lot of sympathetic ears to the story of a young man dying in police custody with a broken back. Even the proper folk round here looked beyond a criminal record to see things went too far. All that gone. Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name

We were nice enough to let you "up to Buffalo" folks even come down for a few shows :-) Sat row 2, sect 102 (dead center) for the last show in '09 (The Dead") with they unveiled the tie-die 53 banner in the rafters. I've jumped thru the avatar hoops too, and the solution seems to be to do the following: 1) Remove picture from profile. 2) Do not add new picture. 3) Close your computer down. 4) Click your heels three times. 5) Turn your computer on again. 6) Wait 48 hours. 7) Add profile picture. It appears there are avatar gremlins and trolls lurking about, and they quickly replace all new pictures with the old one. The trick is to wait a couple of days, using no picture at all when you post. When you finally do log on and decide to add the picture, the gremlins and trolls have partied, slept, have awoken with groggy minds, and have forgotten about the old picture, allowing your new picture to appear in its rightful place. Good luck...btw, Item #4 is not mandatory, but if it feels right, do it anyway. Disclaimer: Void where prohibited, not valid in states with snow, results may differ, and objects in mirror may be closer than you think...allow 46 weeks for delivery. all the best....and good luck geo

Peace and prayers go out to those in chaos. Don't understand the mindset of destruction of property and disruption of innocent lives to make a point "against" the establishment.
