Hey there Georgie boy..... All is good with the world, and if it isn't, well it's not for lack of trying here.... Ba dus is in good hands....and will take us wherever we need go.....of that I am certain..... I guess I'm bound to ride shotgun with Sarge.... Many worse fates out there...... Holly, for you...... Sitting in a transit all night long Playing clubs and rocking right on The road's much too long since I've been wasting my time Wish I was home again sipping my wine And I'm gone, gone, gone, I don't care 'Cause I'm gone, gone, gone I don't care, it's where I'm from I'm on the road again LA to London is a mighty long time Eight hours flying can bring you down Sitting near a suit who's a red-neck going, Eyes are moving but there's no life showing And I'm gone, gone, gone, I don't care 'Cause I'm gone, gone, gone I don't care, it's where I'm from I'm on the road again Now that I'm home again, things are much better Biding my time with my little go-getter No matter what they say, no matter what they do, Gonna end up in the middle of that rock and roll stew Gone, gone, gone...

I was so gonna post that Sonny n Cher song.....thought it was to presumptuous....went with Everly Brothers..... Ahhh boy I have found myself in someone else......like looking in the mirror....and I am you and what I see is me.... When you're down and troubled and you need a helping hand and nothing, whoa, nothing is going right. Close your eyes and think of me and soon I will be there to brighten up even your darkest nights. You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am I'll come running to see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call and I'll be there, yeah, yeah, you've got a friend. If the sky above you should turn dark and full of clouds and that old north wind should begin to blow, keep your head together and call my name out loud. Soon I will be knocking upon your door. You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am I'll come running to see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call and I'll be there. Hey, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend? People can be so cold. They'll hurt you and desert you. Well, they'll take your soul if you let them, oh yeah, but don't you let them. You just call out my name, and you know where ever I am I'll come running to see you again. Winter, spring, summer, or fall, all you have to do is call, Lord, I'll be there, yeah, yeah, you've got a friend. You've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. Ain't it good to know you've got a friend. Oh, yeah, yeah, you've got a friend.

Well you know...I'm here to entertain, myself if no one else is listening. I think some have made their way over to SSDD... they were probably happy I wasn't there the last two days being a Debbie Downer... Im totally cool with this being the Rich and Holly Show. Anyone may listen or join in the fun, or not... HER:] They say we're young and we don't know We won't find out until we grow [HIM:] Well I don't know if all that's true 'Cause you got me, and baby I got you [HIM:] Babe [BOTH:] I got you babe I got you babe [HER:] They say our love won't pay the rent Before it's earned, our money's all been spent [HIM:] I guess that's so, we don't have a pot But at least I'm sure of all the things we got [HIM:] Babe [BOTH:] I got you babe I got you babe [HIM:] I got flowers in the spring I got you to wear my ring [HER:] And when I'm sad, you're a clown And if I get scared, you're always around [HER:] So let them say your hair's too long 'Cause I don't care, with you I can't go wrong [HIM:] Then put your little hand in mine There ain't no hill or mountain we can't climb [HIM:] Babe [BOTH:] I got you babe I got you babe [HIM:] I got you to hold my hand [HER:] I got you to understand [HIM:] I got you to walk with me [HER:] I got you to talk with me [HIM:] Igot you to kiss goodnight [HER:] I got you to hold me tight [HIM:] I got you, I won't let go [HER:] I got you to love me so [BOTH:] I got you babe I got you babe I got you babe I got you babe I got you babe

Wake up, little Susie, wake up Wake up, little Susie, wake up We've both been sound asleep Wake up little Susie and weep The movie's over, it's four o'clock And we're in trouble deep Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie Well, what are we gonna tell your Mama What are we gonna tell your Pa? What are we gonna tell our friends When they say, "Ooh la la!" Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie Well, I told your Mama that you'd be in by ten Well, Susie baby, looks like we goofed again Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie We gotta go home Wake up, little Susie, wake up Wake up, little Susie, wake up The movie wasn't so hot It didn't have much of a plot We fell asleep, our goose is cooked Our reputation is shot Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie Well, what are we gonna tell your Ma-ma What are we gonna tell your Pa? What are we gonna tell our friends When they say, "Ooh la la!" Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie Wake up, little Susie by the way...I got nowhere else to go.......

Oh man, the song remembers when... So you know I am from the country... When I was 10 I learned to two step...in country line dancing class... Back in the 80's, my dad took the entire video of my brother's wedding with the camera upside down. The last thing on the recording is his grumbly baritone growling ... "godammit, you mean I've had this fucking thing..." One of my life's true precious memories. Man oh man, I miss that man.
