    You are all part of that X factor, that unexplainable extra reason why I/we did what we did. I try to explain it to my non dead head wife. "Was it the music she asks"? "Yes" I answer.. "Was it just the music she asks"? "No there was more" I say. Was it the adventure? Yes there was plenty of adventure, hitching, sleeping out doors, making do, waking up covered in dew far away from home, giving things away, having things given to you, meeting strangers/friends, missing class, quitting jobs, following a crazy path that somehow improbably seemed to work out. Was that all? No there was something else, the quest, the music the adventure, the crazy path, the friends all that plus *something* else. This forum, this chat this group.. You are that something else !!! Thanks

    Spectrum was a great venue, no doubt. Spent a few evenings there myself!! Love the tee, tfonts! I used to wear a tee to all concerts...sure I made the purchase on the lot somewhere. It read "Who are the Dead and why do they keep following me?"

    You need a pic kiddo. Let's get some cool thingy up there for your name. Can't believe no comments on my Spectrum T-Shirt. That was my "Dead" home....most played venue in this great land of ours !!! And of course was there in '09 just before the wrecking ball tore it down. Unveiled a tie-die 53 in the banners - OMG....CHILLS. And the encore that night? Samson and Delilah of course...."if I had my way....I would tear this ole building down." Alright...I better go see my wife before the divorces me !!! God bless her poor soul....lol

warming up nicely, and my Truckin' up to Buffalo, party at the Ralph, is on the truck for delivery, might have to slip on a new shirt and have a listen. On a side note, monkeys on ex. are up for the first party in the park in june......

Back in the 80's, my dad took the entire video of my brother's wedding with the camera upside down. The last thing on the recording is his grumbly baritone growling ... "godammit, you mean I've had this fucking thing..." One of my life's true precious memories. Man oh man, I miss that man.

I'll have to pull a good aud of this tomorrow to listen to over yardwork over the weekend. I just Pre ordered the new Yonder Mountain vinyl yesterday. I'm having fun showing my kids records. Tonight I was showing them the first album I ever bought, The Wall. Many albums are missing, but I still have the first one.

Youngster! I think my first LP was Out of the Blue by ELO, or was it Capt Fantastic by Elton? Probably Elton John, I think it came out in '73-74 (I was 9-10 yrs old).

R.I.P. B.B. King! I was lucky to get to see him about 10 years ago with Buddy Guy warming up. BB sat the whole time while he played but put on a great show. A true blues legend...

And goodnight, dear B.B. Thank you for the music. It's nice to think of everyone communing together in person and remotely over the Dear Jerry fest while I was at work doing the deal. Sorry for the loss of the Blues great. It's just that Wheel. So. Here's to all our safe passage to Chicago and beyond. It will be great while it lasts <3 Boo I hope to see some of those monkeys in June. Hope they have a place to play! Sounds like there's nothing but nothing near SC. Big sigh. :) I have a gray-eyed cat snuggled up to me as I say goodnight with my brown eyes. Another two hours before rrgrr and Tonytone are up but... I think we've had enough of a day, que no? It's been a big full day. Night dreamerz... Sweetest of dreamzzz.
