    More (good) tickets available through GDTSTOO. But you have to get them today, with a credit card. We have a few tickets remaining for some of the shows for The Dead Tour 2009 that will be available via credit card only. Please NO phone calls or emails asking for seat locations, we have limited floor and lower bowl tickets. This offer will close when tickets are gone or by February 3, 2009.     Hey All! Can't wait for the shows!!! I'm 17 and this is my first "Dead" show, although I've seen Bobby several times. I'm so excited. For anyone thinking about the DC show, I likely will see ya there!!! I'm a little nervous because I've heard sound quality isn't that good at the Verizon Center, but its not about the sound system.....IT IS A LIFESTYLE! And I am so excited to become a part of it!     Hey All, I'm married with a 9 year old, so I don't get to many shows anymore. I will be at the Albany show, so I'll be seeing many of you there. I just want to say that going to a show is like coming home to see your family again. I still get that hair on the back of my neck standing up feeling as soon as I see you all! How great is that? I love you all and wish you all the best of fortune in the coming year, especially for this tour! Flash me a smile and I'll flash you a smile back!!!! Peace!     United Center Pre-Show
    Darn it, I wish would have mail ordered like I did so many times before. I got ok seats for the United Center, but man I've seen alot of bands there and the acoustics suck. At least I'm going to be able to show the girl what I have been talking about this whole time. FleaFlicker, I don't think that the Boyz have to apologize for the website overload. Being that mail order was available TOO and you know how kind our people our. How many people would you actually trust at a Phish show? Me, a few, but I'm not going for the scene, just the music....The Dead on the other hand, well, I want to see my old long lost friends and meet some newbies as well.....guess I'm going home to Shoreline for "the" parking lot, cuz I know the United Center ain't going to do that. By the way, if anyone is going, we are having a bonfire/headicated get together with a live band along the way (the 'burbs of Chitown) for all you kind critters (may 4th night) and yes, I don't mind if you sleep on the couch with Delilah. However, you must pass the kindness test first. Just send me a PM. P.S. I do have Phish tickets too for Alpine, but believe you me, I'm a musician, that's why.     My ticket for MSG purchsed via the regular Ticketmaster online sale arrived today by first class mail. Still no word on GDTS-TOO. As was noted, no news is good news as they said refunds would be mailed before the tix.

First show day! Cant wait to see what they play-I hope everybody has a good 'ole time down in N.C.- One more week, One more week!!!! Funny how now that The Dead are coming around all the radio stations ACT like they LOVE The Dead- The other day I heard a little commercial for the upcoming Worcester shows on a station that NEVER plays them, Then the DJ comes on all phoney like-"Oh, I Cant Wait!!!(Yeah right) I Dont know-I guess its like around St.Patricks Day, When everyone thinks they're Irish--LOL---Its all good because...ONE MORE WEEK!!!!! Dust off those rusty strings.........:-)

Happy Easter to you and everyone else, too!! also, folks, watch out for counterfeit tickets!! please don't buy ANYTHING from people you don't know. worst case: it is some poisen and you end up dead or in the ER other bad case: it is an undercover-fuzz selling you to set you up for a fall. (scalper or other stuff undercover fuzz) totally dissapointing scenario: you think you have a tix, but get turned back and shut out at the door trying to get in with a bogus ticket you bought off some asshole. PLEASE be carfeul with everything. drive safe!

Just read the review/set list on the home page!! one word comes to mind...WOW!!!! Music opener, Help/Slip/Frank's,Cosmic Charlie(in the soundcheck) Oh Yeah-This is gonna be good :-) Sounds like the scene was cool too, Lotsa families and stuff...Perhaps everyone has grown up a little and we'll have a nice,fun incident-free tour!!! Blew the roof off the top of the Greensboro Coliseum last night. Yes indeed, the show did ROCK! I wish Warren was a little more melodic with his leads, but why quibble? My internal organs are still shaking...GO AND SEE THIS TOUR!

Thank you to all in the Grateful Dead family for putting on this tour. Greensboro was an amazing musical experience. I am so grateful to this wonderful organization to offer the downloads of these shows as well. It always has been about the music. Sunday night in Greensboro was un-disputable proof that the boys are STILL the greatest band going. Thank you Phil,Bobby,Billy,Mickey,Jeff and Warren(who, by the way, did an amazing, amazing job filling those shoes. He was not flashy. Just showed in his own style, that he is one of the greatest guitarists on the scene today.) For all the Deadheads that will be attending the rest of the tour--enjoy yourselves. These shows are truly a gift to all the fans who realize just how special this music has been to us since the beginning. HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!

Can't believe that in 48 hours I will be in the parking lot of a Dead Show!!!! It has been 14 long years... can't believe it. They played Ripple last night - so psyched to hear the recording, but a little bummed I missed it, cuz most likely won't come out tomorrow - I'm also going Sunday so I will hope for that - and here is why: I am going with my 14 year old son who is incredibly pumped to be seeing the Dead. He thought he would never get the chance. Now...when he was a baby I would sign him to sleep with... Ripple. The song became a real bond between us through the years, so when I heard that they played it in NYC I thought that it would be the perfect moment (OK, that and the fact I never saw it live when we were all still Grateful too). I am so excited I can hardly keep a thought in my head. You know what - never mind - I don't care what they play. WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO

I try not to wish ill will on anyone, but I have to say I'm glad they're gettin burned. Also glad the boyz provided charity seats to help combat the issue. We scored a charity pair front row Phil side for 19th!!!!
