Grateful Dead

My friends John Udaley, Tom Goodwin, Pink Mertz and I promoted this show. We knew the GD from SF including many of their people. They agreed to come up and play for us. We had a great show, sold out house, made some $ after which Phill, Bob, and Ramrod came over to our house and we partied on into the night. It was the only time that we promoted them although we worked on their shows a lot in SF at the Avalon and Fillmore doing Liquid Lights with Head Lights. We knew them from almost their first year through Ken Kesey and the Pranksters. I believe it predated their encouraging the house to record their shows although with Owsley doing their sound they probably recorded it. Does anyone know about a recording from that show. I would love to get ahold of it. Thanks Dick Montagne
