started by dstache This vine will be 4 DVDs, 3 of which I acquired from another source and the 4th sent to me by our good friend and intrepid viner Cosmicbadger. I tried not to repeat any of the shows vined in the 68 Eurovine, but there is probably a repeat or two on the CB disc as newer and cleaner sources have entered circulation. I am a little short on time so I am not going to list sources, but instead ask that the 1st person to sign up take 10 minutes and do this (thank you!). Dates included are: 1/17, 1/23, 1/27, 2/2, 2/3, 3/16 (outtakes only), 5/18, 5/xx, 6/14, 6/19, 8/21, 8/22, 8/28, 9/2, 9/20, 10/10, 10/13, 10/30, 12/7, 12/16, 12/20, and 12/21. If you sign up for this and the Eurovine, you should have just about everything from this formative year. First person to sign up after Marye posts a thread for this vine, please PM me your address.

Just looking through the history on this vine

Long and tangled to be sure. Seeded years ago, lost and re-seeded multiple times, sometimes with different sources or shows. But still alive and growing and providing ear to ear grins! I have this one

But it looks like disc 4 is blank ? the properties show it as full but there is nothing there , can`t even scan it ? Any ideas anyone , before i send it out ? And anyone know if birdsong is back from his vacation or not , who should i send it to ? Thank you dstache !!

I only copied shows from two of the discs, the 8/21 and 8/22 shows and some of the Hartbeats stuff. Not sure about the condition of the other discs. Steve

I probably am not the only person who started listening to 6/19/68 and gave up because of the poor sound quality, especially the fact that the vocals are all but inaudible. Went back to the show today and, man oh man, is the second disc a MONSTER. The sound quality improves to at least a B+/A- SBD, and the band does the smart thing and eschews vocals entirely. They just JAM for 50 minutes.

8/28 is for masochists, urr, completists only, as the sound quality is quite poor, especially for a SBD. 9/2, on the other hand, is an incredible must have show, despite the fact that Death Don't Have No Mercy cuts off at the 30 second mark.
