    How many estimated-Eyes a day is too many? Closure is good. I'd rather go get a slice or be a monkey on ecstasy. moe anyone? moe might just be the right counter-balance after a long day of Dead.

    DSO July 2/3 in Chicago
    Dark Star Orchestra just announced shows July 2,3 at the Vic in Chicago. Most of you are probably familiar with them. If not - they (usually) replicate historical Dead shows and they're great. Every once in a while they perform their own original set lists but they're mostly Dead tunes with a few other covers mixed in. John Kadlecik (Furthur) got his start with them. The Vic is an awesome venue. I saw DSO there a couple of months ago and as always they delivered. They did a Chicago show from 1976. Tickets are usually easy to get but with the July invasion they'll be tougher. Tickets haven't gone on-sale yet.

    SSDers...I probably owe you information or something...it has been a crazy several days, both professionally and personally. I see there are dozens of unopened emails in my inbox, which I won't get to until probably at least tonight. I am not this unresponsive as a rule..if there is anything critical needed from me now, please poke me.

    I also reported it to ebay as a fraudulent item. If they get back to me I will let them know that the seller does not have the item he is selling and is selling speculation.

We braved high water (literally) yesterday and the sacred thumb has landed! It has already been debriefed, re-packed and all it now needs is Steve/Roadking's mailing address to resume its return to the east coast when USPS reopens on Tuesday. BTW: Has anybody heard where DEADSPACE1 and DEADSPACE2 are hanging out these days? If anybody needs it, my mailing address is: Jeff Smith; PO Box 1126; Fort Davis, TX 79734

Jambase.com announced first Dead and Co. shows of 2017, mid June for Ohio and the ATL, more to follow. Présale info etc. coming soon. Sarge, time to kick the tires and rev up ba dus.... If they play South Florida me n Sarge have first dibs on tfonts front lawn....we're gonna build a wall ;-)
