    I almost forgot...being a mountain girl I felt compelled to tell you the prosopography of us mountain folk..otherwise referred to as 'hill billies" is way wrong. We aren't nelipots in shacks. :) ;)

    I am actually from NC and have lived here majority of my life. It's a beautiful state with Blue Ridge Mountains and incredible beaches so best of both worlds. Asheville is great and I'm near Appalachian State Univeristy. Lots of artists, musicians, forward thinkers. And too much development because of the beauty. Having said that we have high taxes and current political leaders are a bit of an embarrassment. But we're working on changing that :)Come check it out..

    Blue skies, not a wisp of wind and forecasted to be in the mid-70's. As soon as I quaff my iced coffee it's off on a run with my trusty canine companion Kai. Although there's plenty of sails to patch and rails to shine, it looks like the office beckons today. It happens. Big event tomorrow, so rehearsal is needed. Hoping to have a Watkins Glen kinda day. . . . Have a good one, everyone!

We braved high water (literally) yesterday and the sacred thumb has landed! It has already been debriefed, re-packed and all it now needs is Steve/Roadking's mailing address to resume its return to the east coast when USPS reopens on Tuesday. BTW: Has anybody heard where DEADSPACE1 and DEADSPACE2 are hanging out these days? If anybody needs it, my mailing address is: Jeff Smith; PO Box 1126; Fort Davis, TX 79734
