Without music, life would be a mistake.....

    Morning rockers! And happy Friday!!

Right now I'm listening to the Dark Star from September 21 1972. I was completely unaware of this show until its releases as Dicks 36.

Very solid, even gargantuan show. New and old, rock and roll, jams, cowboy songs, Dark Star, Not Fade Away..........

    Absolutely worth a listen!!!!

If you pour some music on whatever's wrong, it'll sure help out.....

    Rock on, enjoy your weekend!!!

The Police - February 1979 - today it's known as University of Hertfordshire but back then it was still Hatfield Poly. Great show, there's video as well (believe BBC? Whatever, it's good stuff)

    Yo! and hello..........

Next up: Baltimore September 17, 1972. Another official release that I didn't pay much attention to back in the day. My bad.............

So much fun revisiting what I missed, mining them for the gold and gems that they are...........

Music comes from a place we don't know......

    Rockit!!

    Doc, another paperwork day

    Hey rockers!!!

Right now I'm listening to the Hollywood Palladium show of September 9, 1972. It's a little outside of my serious comfort zone, but a very fine show and definitely worth a listen.

This was officially released a little over a year ago, and seems to have been quickly forgotten. There's actually quite a few really good later 72 official releases, worthy of relistens every so often...........

I know, you're shocked, Doc raving about post-E72 shows. No I didn't fall down and hit my head. But last night I did fall outta bed while dreaming of a February/April Fillmore West 1970 box set.............

My masters are strange folk with very little care for music in them.....

    Keep it rockin'!

Their first show at Red Rocks. And a killer show as we all know. In the July '78 Box (which I have and love). On Archive prefer the OctopusRider matrix (which I'm listening to now). There are killer audience tapes of this show - early on I had one into Fire transition and it became an integral part of my GD being. The first set is nonpareil. The Cold Rain Set II opener is the GOAT.
