Lousy Gremlins.

Okay, so now my copied files and the original discs are playing fine - must have had some gremlins in there last night. Thanks kwitt for checking your files and pm'ing me. There is a little glitch at the start of Cassidy which can be forwarded past. Second disc is fine. Sorry guys, didn't mean to bog down this vine. Out to zep on Monday.

I Previewed Both Discs...

...before and after the burn and everything looked good. Let me take a closer look tonight and report back.

Great video and nice inserts, Oro, thanks! I started watching right away - played great until Cassidy on first disc then had video problems, and second disc has frozen video - only audio. I reached out to kwitt late last nite to see if he had any issues, haven't heard back yet. I don't want to hold this vine up, but if there are problems with the discs.... 2. TheNuthatch > IN 8/19 3. ya know, I was at that show, but I sure never heard of "Hideaway"... Clearly my brains are not what they once were.

Shoreline is one of my favorite places. You wouldn't happen to have the 9/30/89 Shoreline show on DVD would you? Or even the flacs? Actually anything from 9/29-10/1 1989 run would be cool. Hideaway by Freddie King

The GD played Hideaway only twice. First time at the Harding Theateron 11-7-71 and then again on 6-21-89 at the Shoreline. Jerry was a BIG Freddie King fan. When watching the beginning of the '89 video, I tend to agree with Stu. They were tuning up, then they seemed just to 'slip' into that song. But you can see by the grins that they enjoyed that little 'romp'. (marye, I had to look it up in the DeadBase XI.) The Truth is realized in an instant, the act is practiced step by step.

1989 was HOT

Isn't this DVD already seeded on another vine?It's strange because I already have it and the vineyard has been the sole contributor to my un-official DVD collection...hmmmm....i still want it again...mine's a tad worn. 1. in one of the other earlier DVD offerings (the Bill Graham Memorial, I believe). But the prior Shoreline was on a single disc, and this is on 2 DVDs. Would that make the resolution better since it isn't compressed/condensed (or whatever the right term is). I am not sure but this is a prime cut of the Dead nonetheless. I have sevral DVD video`s that fit on just one DVD and I have the same DVD video`s that fit on two DVD`s and those are sooo much nicer then the single DVD video`s . So this is indeed an upgrade to what has been circulated already .

The problem being

This one is lost. Somewhere between TxJed, AlpineMike or carolina boy (affectionately known as the vine killer). Been missing for almost a year. "It's got no signs or dividing line and very few rules to guide"

I can reseed this one and the insert as well.

Longrifle asked me to upgrade some time ago, and I had not been able to get the copy made as I don't have DVD burning capability.
