    back...

    ...in the Saddle, after some time away;
    Long Distance Runner Son
graduation in Ithaca this past weekend
    fun family-party time
his 81 yr old grandfather really enjoyed the festivities,
parents just smiled at each other ALOT over the weekend,
and the best part, could well be, that he is off of our payroll
    with full-time employment

looking ahead to the new year, anniversary and all that...
    12/15/86 would be highly preferred
    over 7/9/95,
and it's just one knucklehead's opinion

    for all my friends
    who have been FREAKING out
over the last week or so
    about drones...

    ...today's selection
    is deadicated to y'all,
    so listen-up

    12/6/73 set 2
    at public hall in cleveland
    on the archive identifier #102750

...roll yourself a big ol' bone,
    take a big ol' hit,
    RELAX,
    and enjoy the TRIP

    if this one doesn't
    capture your imagination

    PEACE for ALL!

I got the subwoofer more than 50% off. Had to do it.

    6-10-73 vinyl right now.
Had to turn Phil down on the sub during Morning Dew, but now he’s too low.
Small adjustment of main volume and subwoofer volume, and just exactly perfect.

Last night at the Lebanon (NH) Opera House. Music that you've heard as background on various media for decades, last night incorporating recordings of Wood Thrush, Wolves, Whales and a gorgeously sweet choir of African women washing clothes together. Icarus for encore. Cellist Eugene Friesen has been with Winter for 46 years, has a house in this area, so we get to see/hear him from time to time in other concerts. The Brazilian pianist and drummer in ensemble provided lots of texture and spice. Tremendous and lush vocals by Theresa Thomason. They will be joined in Maine by Noel Paul Stookey.

Hey All, Been milling around in the Red Clay and Straight Life recordings. These are Freddie Hubbard's Masterpieces. The musician line up on these sessions are excellent. Highly recmmended and a fine way to take a break from the Dead...

12/6/73. Kind of a meandering one, that doesn't necessarily get to the point until the 37-minute mark. I think it's good to not have much of an agenda sometimes. Eyes of the world kicks in and is smokin' good. Killer Here Comes Sunshine. Why do so many great shows come out of Cleveland?
