    Which T You Taking To???
There's plenty of T's around. I don't mind my musical commentary being mocked cause I got big big trouble on the way. The mayor will be getting home from work soon and he's gonna find out I ratted him out on his tickets. I should have thought that one through. Nowhere to run nowhere to hide. What's for dinner?

I had one of of those moments too. I never paid much attention to Hall & Oates other then when they were on the radio where ever I happened to be. Then I stumbled upon a show called "Live From Daryl's House" with guest Joe Walsh. Wow!!! Joe Walsh is always great, but I saw a side to Daryl Hall I never new existed. He was amazing. Same thing when he had Billy Gibbons and Todd Rungren as guests. This is a series he has been doing for seven years or so. They take place in a private studio he has put together. Best place to begin looking into this is Wikipedia.

Top of the afternoon peeps (literally). Nothin' like some in-air GoGo wifi.....(no, rrrrrgrrrrr, not that kind of Go Go....). Okay..... so no one laugh, but I just saw this Hall and Oates concert from Dublin from last summer here on the flight. Holy shit - frickin' amazing and brought back great, great memories of their catalog of hits. Highly recommend it. Could never figure out how they were friends of the Dead but I do remember them opening up for them on the 9th of 9 straight nights at MSG in when was that?? '89? '91? Anyways, here's to hoping all the beautiful Sunshine Daydreamer's had a wonderful start to the week. Cheers !!

Oh... I always loved Belgian beers. Definitely a different breed of flavor, but they were all so good. For a Strong, the Rochefort 8 is exceptional (https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/207/1696/). The Tripel was always my favorite. Lighter/crisper than some of the others. Peace, -Dave

i believe i have had brother theo, and yes it is excellent. I prefer IPAs as well, but do like my Belgians and Saisons, too. Craft brewing has finally hit north Texas in a fairly big way, and there are many small brewers putting out various IPA in DFW. Until recently, too often, Texas beer always seems to be a slightly watered down version of whatever style they're brewing. Lately, though, many of the newer guys have figured out how to make an IPA with bite, but not just bitter-to-be-bitter. Community Brewing, Deep Ellum, Peticolas (but they only sell kegs to bars...you can't get it bottled)...these are just a few to try if you can find them. Not slighting the other guys, these are just the ones I can think of immediately. thanks for birthday wishes and "back atcha"

Some might find it a coincidence that the day Bobby rolled into town (Wednesday, April 12) for his sound test on his new spring tour, the City Council of Dallas voted to decriminalize pot. http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/dallas-city-council-approves-cite-and-re… A coincidence? I think not... Thanks, Mr. Weir, for doing your part. G

This is from a post dated March 28, 2012, in the forum titled "Bob Weir and the National light up TRI for Headcount" ...mind, you, this is 2012: "Campfire! As they were going off the air you could hear someone say 'that was best campfire they had ever been to" or something like that. It seemed to me that Bob had enough fun with it that he will resurrect this in the future." Thank you, Byerly, for your astute comment... fast forward to 2017 and your prediction comes true. keep an eye out for Forgotten Space...top notch GD tribute band, but that doesn't really do them justice. playing near St Louis late May at the Rock House I think. Playing at Martyr's in Chicago a day or two before D&C's show at Wrigley. They get my personal "no suck" guarantee. Kenny Withrow on lead also plays in New Bohemians. They occasionally go to Little Rock, KC, Denver and other cities generally between Dallas and Chicago. Check out their Facebook. Enjoy the shows

Thanks for the heads up bro, will have to check them out. The Old Rock House is a really cool venue downtown by the river. They have a kick-ass whiskey cellar. I am not seeing Forgotten Space on the lineup but there is a band called Tinsley Ellis Blues is Dead who focus on the more bluesy numbers from the Dead's repertoire. They play on the 21st. http://oldrockhouse.com/concert-calendar/ Hope things are good out west... Peace

Don’t forget about Larry Reichman’s Cornell Book project. In case you missed it, Larry was attending Cornell in 1977 and had access to Barton Hall for the entire day on 5/8. He photographed set-up, sound check, show and crowd. He’s trying to publish his photos as an oversize, archival quality book. Read more including David Lemieux’s comments at the link below. As of Saturday Morning 5/20 there are LESS THAN 3 DAYS LEFT in the “All or Nothing”* Kickstarter campaign. As Hugh Romney told the crowd at Woodstock, “… for you people that still believe capitalism isn't that weird, you might help him out and … ” … make a pledge and get book(s) and more: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bartonhallphotos/barton-hall-5-8-7… * All or nothing: You won’t be charged until if/when the total goal is reached. Right now over 81% of the 27,500.00 goal has been pledged. FYI: I do not know & have never met Larry – just support his effort to preserve a slice of Grateful Dead lore.

A bit of back problems, hurt my left lower back (to match the lower right) a few weeks ago and still suffering through it. Lots of stretching an IBUPROFEN, getting better but very slowly. Been spending a lot of my internet time on Miata.net since I purchased my last 2 Miatas, especially the newest one in 2016. Learning a lot about it and dealing with earlyh adopter growing pains but it is still the funnest vehicle I have ever owned. Anywho, back on the us y'all and getting ready to hit the road for the next D&C tour. Hoping to see some other sunny daydreamers on the journey!

Top of the morning to you Mayor Klangstone. I see you have obtained your dus briving license. It is quite a worthy profession. You are following in the footsteps of the great and near great, Neal Cassady, Ralph Cramden, myself and Miami. Make us proud Mr. Mayor. Just to let you know that switch to the right of the joint..ummmm cigarette lighter controls the temp in the back of ba dus so you can thaw out your frozen doughnuts. Can't believe Mayer n Sons tour starts so soon, boy do I hope they work out some new tunes, that 2016 tour was getting long in the tooth, kinda like The Beach Boys on acid. All kidding aside, they brought it every night as did Mr. Mayer and his schnazzy wardrobe with matching wristwatches. Cue Jerry rolling over in his grave. I'm looking forward to Phil n Preservation Hall Jazz Band and friends at the Cap this weekend. Gonna be be a mighty High time... I miss Jerry....

...in the neighborhood. Won't you be...my neighbor? Great day for a road trip on Ba Dus! Ironically, "Whitebird" is playing on the box. Hop on, get in and strap yourself down in our new 5-point harness racing seats. The bus has been upgraded to dual 427 cu. inch tandem Chevy hipo V8s! She's a screamer now! Racing helmets will be provided all you need is your daydreamin' shirt to get a free pass on the new racing bus. No shorts or shoes required (totally optional). Side pipes to be installed in Wendover (aka bendover) Nevada on the way. Bring a beer to toast the install, and roasted marshmallows will be torched on a per pipe basis when we arrive.

G'morning daydreamers. Hop on the bus y'all the road trip has begun. We're hitting the road early. So early the donuts are fresh and hot but the coffee is cold crusty. Just put some whip cream on that and you'll be fine. Hey, you, get off of my cloud and put some fresh coffee brewing back there in the back, will ya? Got "Plain Jane" on the box and we're having a 70s flashback as we head west on I-70.... "Driving wheel" comes on next, and maybe someone else can hold onto the wheel for a while so I can catch some buzzzzes, or I mean, zzzzz's (or maybe a little bit of both).

The old espresso bean in the chocolate trick, eh? I'll take a handful of those please. OK, a few more... I wish I was "staying home to watch the rain", I guess I'll be "hanging on in quiet desperation" since it "is the English way. The time is gone the song is over. Thought I'd something more to say..."

Da bus just broke down. We need to fix the flat and flat the fix. My word scrambler is broken too, but there isn't a voice specialist anywhere near here. Ba dus! Ah, there it is. I just need to keep practicing. Plus, anyone got a spare radiator hose in their back pocket? It's not for the bus, the beer bong when out the window in Bendover, so I'm making a new one out of spare auto parts. The new one is going to get much better MPB (miles per beer).

flat tires, running out of gas, detours, busted radiators, burns busts bummers and ripoffs, man, you'll be happy to hear that this here dus comes equipped with a magic carpet. I had a nice carpet that was purchased in the lot at Shoreline back in '89, found it handy at Cal Expo that night it rained and flooded out Shakedown, and kept it ever since. We all met up with the Kurtster last year, and Richie and Hikealike added the carpet to ba dus just after the traffic jam at Deer Creek. It's a slick little add-on, and Sarge endorsed too. Said carpet can fix any tire, repair any hoses, fill-up your tank and even comes equipped with a mirror, razor blade and straw, should you ever need to use said implements to re-fill that hard to reach spot on the rear hydraulic system's left manifold transistor flux capacitating rainbow gatherer. Speaking from experience, that's damn hard to do at night in the rain. Klang, grab your handy 50th FTW flashlight and look under the empty Krispy Creame donut box just behind seat 42, there's a latch keyhole that your SYF pin fits in. Turn pin counterclockwise, pop off cover and unroll carpet. Hop on. The rest happens naturally. Who are Dead & Company, and why do they keep following us? Enjoy the ride, all. geo'scarpetbaggingrugbogartingdaysareovermeister

Amazing show. Got to the parking lot late (about 6:15), my son had to work in the morning and a friend that was coming was running a little late also, plus I took a wrong turn that cost us about an extra half hour or so. So, unfortunately I missed shakedown completely and a chance to see the Sherriff and Jambo. But all things considered I had a great time. We at least got set up on the lawn (a decent spot) before the band came out so I didn't miss a note of the music. My review: The band was spot on, they just keep getting better and tighter as they continue to play together. Oteil's China Doll was stellar, setlist off the charts. Love me some wheel after space, oh yeah! John channeled Jerry a few times, plus his own style shown through as he shredded the old tunes. Other special moments worthy of mention, Jeff's piano solo on Eyes; Viola Lee Blues and Black Muddy River were really nice.
