Do you have what it takes?

After the glory of 11/15/71, I am unfortunately in an "anything but GD" mindset. So, I challenged myself to listening to Public Image Limited's Flowers of Romance LP on that toob.

I bought the record when it was released and was shocked by its almost unlistenability. I tried a few times over the years but had to stop.

I am trying again....I finally hear some listenable material.

Do you have what it takes to listen to the entire album?

I challenge you to a friendly wager of nothing.

    Fabulous Forum

6/4/1977 taped by Rob Eaton. Is this the fastest NFA ever? Or perhaps it was the party favors. I recall Dick Latvala raved about this Forum show but noted there is no SDB in the vault.

If interested in a new road trip story from that June 77 run, I posted that one the Oroboros dragon thread. As usual brevity is not my long suit.

    Enjoyed disc one last Thursday
    Heard China Rider today

    Instinct said do 11/15/71 instead

    Magnificent show

Methinks the band had some "Texas tea" prior to performing

The relaunched Dead Net has just passed its tenth anniversary (and I mine here). So let's offer a huge thank you to all those who keep it going, and especially to MaryE who has so ably and amicably steered us all through winds both foul and fair. THANK YOU.

Amen cosmicbadger! They have given us a great place to hang out in these interwebs. And MaryE has been so kind with everything, including indulging me on my sometimes daily "spam alerts"! Peace, -Dave
